Maserati has rolled out updates for its GranTurismo coupe, GranCabrio convertible, and Grecale SUV. Case in point: the Italian luxury carmaker has introduced revised styling, upgraded powertrains, new technology features, and expanded customization options across the lineup.
Leading the updates is the GranTurismo, Maserati’s flagship grand tourer. The model now features a redesigned front fascia with revised air intakes, improved aerodynamics, and new lighting elements. The range continues to offer the 3.0-liter twin-turbo Nettuno V6 engine, now available in 490 hp and 590 hp Trofeo forms. Maserati also retains the all-electric Folgore variant, which produces 760 hp and now offers an increased driving range of up to 540 km thanks to efficiency improvements, revised aerodynamics, and a new all-wheel-drive (AWD) Disconnect system that disengages the front axle when conditions allow.
Inside, the GranTurismo receives a redesigned steering wheel, a new digital clock, an updated gear selector, refreshed display graphics, and a driver fatigue monitoring system. Maserati has also introduced a new Country driving mode, while wider-track Trident wheels are designed to improve stability and handling.
The GranCabrio receives many of the same upgrades while retaining its soft-top convertible configuration. Like the coupe, it is available with 490-horsepower and 590-horsepower Nettuno V6 engines, alongside a 760 hp Folgore electric version.

The electric GranCabrio now offers up to 508 km of range, while Maserati claims it remains the fastest fully electric luxury convertible currently available. Other updates include revised front-end styling, a wider track, new interior technology, and enhanced driver-assistance features. The convertible also gains expanded personalization options, including the ability to fully customize the fabric roof through Maserati’s Fuoriserie program.
Completing the update is the Grecale SUV, which remains Maserati’s volume model. The refreshed Grecale lineup introduces two new V6-powered variants producing 390 hp positioned between the mild-hybrid models and the range-topping 530 hp Trofeo.
Exterior revisions include a redesigned “shark nose” front end, updated grilles, and aerodynamic improvements, particularly for the electric Folgore version. Maserati says the Grecale Folgore benefits from improved range through aerodynamic upgrades and a new active Air Grille Shutter system.
Across the range, the Grecale gains a redesigned steering wheel, a new digital clock, a revised PRND gear selector with haptic controls, updated drive mode management, and additional driver monitoring technologies. The SUV continues to be offered with mild-hybrid, V6 gasoline, and full-electric powertrains, giving Maserati one of its broadest model ranges to date.

Autocar’s Take
Maserati’s latest updates to the GranTurismo, GranCabrio, and Grecale show that the Italian luxury brand is refining its core models, as opposed to reinventing them. The changes focus on areas that matter most to buyers today — improved efficiency, updated technology, enhanced usability, and broader powertrain choices.
The introduction of new V6 variants for the Grecale helps strengthen the SUV’s position in the luxury performance segment, while the continued development of the Folgore electric lineup signals Maserati’s commitment to electrification without abandoning performance. It’s an evolutionary update, but one that keeps the brand competitive in a high-end market that’s getting quite the attention in the past few years.
