Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) has handed over two units of the NPR85 Class III PUV to Perlas RCG Transport Tours Corp, a transport cooperative based in Ibaan, Batangas. The Japanese automaker said that this initiative is part of its commitment to delivering reliable mobility solutions.
IPC’s initiative of handing over two modern PUV units is made possible through its dealer partner, Isuzu Calapan. The new PUVs are said to serve the Lobo-Lipa City route and vice versa. Isuzu PH is confident that the NPR85 Class III PUV units will deliver dependable, efficient, and commuter-friendly mobility solutions.
The NPR85 Class III PUV is built on Isuzu’s N-Series truck platform, which is said to feature proven durability and meet the requirements of dependable transportation service. Isuzu PH added that the NPR platform comes with notable payload capacity, which is suited for carrying passengers over longer-distance routes.
The two Isuzu modern PUV units are also designed with a front-facing seating configuration, built by Centro. This seating configuration allows passengers to sit in the direction of travel. It also has an air-conditioned cabin, supported by an air-conditioning system from Country Cool Phils. Isuzu PH noted that this offers a convenient commuting experience while being better protected from heat, rain, road dust, and other outside elements.

IPC Department Head for Dealer Sales Mario Ojales shared that the car brand is honored to be part of Perlas RCG Transport Tours’ goal to improve the transportation experience of everyday Filipinos.
“We are honored to be part of Perlas RCG Transport Tours’ mission of serving commuters in Batangas. Partnerships such as this reflect a shared commitment to improving the transportation experience of everyday Filipinos, and we look forward to supporting their operations not only through our reliable and fuel-efficient vehicles, but also through Isuzu’s unmatched Aftersales support,” said Ojales.
The turnover ceremony was attended by key individuals, including Perlas RCG Transport Tours Chairman Juanito Humarang, Ibaan Mayor Honorable Jane A. Casas, Vice Mayor Honorable Edralyn Joy A. Salvame, Centro Assistant Sales Manager Carlo Enriquez, and Agribank Lipa Branch Head Alvin Rempis.
