Suzuki Philippines has reopened its Suzuki Auto Iloilo dealership. Boasting a more modern design, the upgraded facility gives the brand’s presence in Western Visayas a refreshed aura, while adding capacity for both conventional and electrified vehicles.

Located along Diversion Road in Dungon B, Jaro, Iloilo City, the standalone 3S facility has undergone renovation and expansion to improve the customer experience across sales, service, and spare parts. The upgraded showroom can now accommodate five vehicle display units, while the service area has six service bays for maintenance and aftersales requirements.

The dealership has been operated by Sakura Autoworld, Inc. since its establishment on June 13, 2012. More than a decade later, the relaunch gives the dealership a more modern facility as Suzuki continues to build its presence in the region.

Beyond the additional showroom and service capacity, the new Suzuki Auto Iloilo is also being prepared for the company’s growing electrified vehicle lineup. Suzuki Philippines said the dealership will soon receive a dedicated charging station in preparation for the Suzuki e-Vitara, the brand’s all-electric SUV.

That addition is particularly notable as automakers continue to prepare their dealer networks for the shift toward electrified mobility. For Suzuki Auto Iloilo, the charging infrastructure means the facility is being readied not only to sell and service current models, but also to support the brand’s future electrified offerings.

During the relaunch, Norihide Takei, Suzuki Philippines’ Director and General Manager for its Automobile Division, highlighted Sakura Autoworld’s continued partnership with the company. He said the upgraded facility reflects the dealer’s commitment to improving customer experience and preparing for Suzuki’s future.

Takei also recognized Sakura Autoworld’s contribution to Suzuki’s growth, noting the importance of dedicated dealer partners as the company works to serve more customers and strengthen its regional presence.

For Sakura Autoworld, the investment comes as Suzuki Auto Iloilo enters its next chapter with upgraded sales and aftersales facilities. The combination of expanded service capability and preparation for electrified mobility gives the dealership a clearer role in Suzuki Philippines’ plans for the years ahead.

The relaunch ultimately goes beyond a renovated showroom, as customer expectations around convenience and ownership continue to evolve.

Autocar’s Take

Suzuki Auto Iloilo’s relaunch is more than a fresh coat of paint for a dealership. The six service bays and showroom give customers something: more room and capacity to handle ownership needs. More interesting, however, is the facility’s preparation for the Suzuki e-Vitara and the arrival of a dedicated charging station. That points to an idea that Suzuki Philippines is treating electrification as something that needs to be supported locally, not simply promoted in advertisements. For Iloilo, having a dealership prepared for electrified vehicles could become highly important as buyers become more curious about newer powertrain choices and the ownership experience surrounding them.
