Suzuki Philippines has relaunched Suzuki Auto Tacloban in a new standalone 3S facility, giving customers in Tacloban and Eastern Visayas a larger and more dedicated location for vehicle sales and aftersales support.
Located at Purok 4, Maharlika Highway, Barangay 91, Abucay District, Tacloban City, Leyte, the dealership is operated by Sakura Autoworld, Inc., led by President Marco Gabriel Borromeo. The move marks a new chapter for Suzuki Auto Tacloban, which has been serving the region since September 19, 2012.
The new facility is designed to improve both the showroom and service experience. Its showroom can display up to five Suzuki vehicles, giving customers more space to look over the brand’s current lineup in a more comfortable setting.
More importantly for existing owners, the dealership now has an enhanced aftersales area with five service bays. Suzuki Philippines said the setup is intended to support faster and more efficient maintenance and repair work while retaining the quality and reliability expected by Suzuki customers.

The relaunch brought together Suzuki Philippines executives, Sakura Autoworld representatives, business partners, customers, and members of the local community. Among those present was Norihide Takei, Suzuki Philippines’ Director and General Manager for the Automobile Division, who congratulated Sakura Autoworld on the relocation and highlighted the dealer group’s long-running partnership with the automaker.
Takei said the investment in the new facility reflects confidence in the Suzuki brand and a commitment to improving the customer experience in Tacloban and throughout Eastern Visayas. He also reaffirmed Suzuki’s commitment to its customers and dealer partners.
For Suzuki, the new Suzuki Auto Tacloban facility is about more than moving into a newer building. It also strengthens the brand’s presence in a region where the dealership has already built a customer base over more than a decade.
The relocation also gives Sakura Autoworld a more modern base from which to handle sales and aftersales operations. With five display slots and five service bays, the facility combines the basic functions customers need under one roof, while giving the dealership room to serve its customers effectively.
The relaunch is part of Suzuki Philippines’ continuing effort to strengthen its nationwide dealership network through modern facilities and customer-focused services. For motorists in Tacloban and Eastern Visayas, the expanded dealership should make buying, maintaining, and servicing a Suzuki more convenient.

Autocar’s Take
The relaunch of Suzuki Auto Tacloban may not grab attention like a new model launch, but it matters to owners in the long run. A standalone 3S facility gives Suzuki customers in Tacloban and Eastern Visayas a dedicated place for sales and aftersales.
The five service bays are important. For owners, dependable aftersales support can be just as valuable as the vehicle itself. Suzuki Philippines is also showing that strengthening its dealer network is not simply about adding locations, but improving ownership experience. After more than a decade, Suzuki Auto Tacloban’s move looks like an investment in its next chapter.
