Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP) said that the community of Toyota vehicle owners and enthusiasts played a significant role in making the Toyota Legacy Experience event a success. The car brand shared that the three-day event lived up to its goal of celebrating Toyota’s heritage and legacy.
TMP noted that Eton City Square was filled with a diverse crowd, but all came together for a weekend of celebrating everything Toyota. Several Toyota car clubs were also present at the event, which further made the Toyota Legacy Experience an even more worthwhile celebration.
Among the Toyota car clubs present at the event is the Hilux Club Philippines (HCP), a club that began in 2011 as a small group of enthusiasts. Since then, TMP said that HCP has grown into one of the country’s most active Toyota communities. While off-road adventures and camping trips remain at the heart of the club, members have also built a culture centered on friendship, family, and service through outreach programs and community activities.
“Hilux Club Philippines is more than just a group of Hilux owners. We enjoy off-roading, camping, helping communities, and spending time together as friends and families. I joined because of my love for the Hilux, but I stayed because of the people and the friendships we built through the years,” shared HCP member JC Diaz.
The Land Cruiser Club of the Philippines (LCCP) also showed its support for the Toyota Legacy Experience. LCCP head Gerald Lim noted that the Land Cruiser legacy is deeply personal and has ingrained itself in his family’s history.
“For me, owning a Land Cruiser is not just about possessing a vehicle; it is an inseparable part of my identity and a living testament to my family’s history. Since the day I was born, a Land Cruiser has always been present in our household,” said Lim.
“The Land Cruiser has played the biggest role in my life. It represents reliability, resilience, and a legacy passed down from my father. Today, it defines my lifestyle, allowing me to serve others through charitable work with the Land Cruiser Club Of The Philippines,” added Lim.
The FJ Cruiser Owners Philippines (FJCOP) was among the Toyota car clubs present at the event. FJCOP has become a trusted platform where enthusiasts exchange maintenance tips, modification ideas, travel experiences, and technical advice while inspiring one another to make the most of the FJ ownership experience.
According to Francis Edward Ayala, the club has always been about creating meaningful relationships among owners. “Our community allows owners to connect with others who share the same passion. Beyond the vehicles themselves, we build friendships, share knowledge, organize activities, and help one another get the most out of ownership.”
Grupo Toyota was also part of the Toyota Legacy Experience, as it brought together different enthusiasts from across Toyota’s diverse lineup. Rather than centering on a single vehicle, the community celebrates the relationships that unite owners regardless of what they drive through gatherings, outreach activities, and collaborations with fellow Toyota clubs.
