Suzuki Philippines has expanded its Carry lineup with two new purpose-built variants aimed at organizations and public-service users. Case in point: the Japanese brand presents the Carry PUV Class 1 and Carry Patrol Van.
The new models take the familiar Carry platform and adapt it for more specialized transport duties, giving transport cooperatives, local government units (LGUs), resorts, barangays, and other institutions additional options for passenger and public-service operations.
Priced at P849,000, the Suzuki Carry PUV Class 1 is configured specifically for passenger transport. It features side entry with removable doors and a canvas cover, wide windows with roll-up canvas, side-facing seats, and high headroom. A fire extinguisher is also included.
Suzuki Philippines says the PUV Class 1 is DOTr Certified, carrying COC No. 202509-00C1GE, and complies with PNS 2131:2018, the dimensional standard for Public Utility Vehicles Class 1.
The second addition, the Suzuki Carry Patrol Van, carries a suggested retail price of P822,000. It is intended to support the mobility and operational needs of LGUs, barangays, and other organizations that require a dedicated patrol or public-service vehicle.
The Patrol Van comes with several features tailored to its intended role, including a reversible seat, checkered plate flooring, roll-up canvas covers with locks, an embedded side step, and a siren with PA system and blinker. It can accommodate 10 passengers, including the driver. While their configurations are different, both variants retain the Carry’s focus on practicality and are designed around specific operational requirements rather than conventional private use.
For organizations that need a straightforward passenger carrier, the Carry PUV Class 1 offers a ready-made configuration. Meanwhile, the Patrol Van gives public-service operators a vehicle equipped for patrol and community assistance duties straight from the lineup.
The introduction also broadens the choices available to institutional customers within Suzuki’s commercial-oriented Carry range. Rather than asking organizations to adapt a standard vehicle to their requirements, Suzuki Philippines is offering two variants with equipment and layouts intended for their respective jobs. The move gives fleet buyers a clearer choice for specialized transport.
Both the Suzuki Carry PUV Class 1 and Carry Patrol Van will be available through Suzuki Philippines’ authorized automobile dealer network nationwide. The latest additions reinforce the Carry’s role as a practical work vehicle, while giving Philippine organizations more purpose-built mobility options for passenger transport, patrol operations, and other public-service activities.
