VinFast has added another milestone to its growing list of international recognitions after receiving three major honors at the Asian Excellence Awards 2026. The achievement underscores the Vietnamese electric vehicle (EV) maker’s continued efforts to strengthen its presence in global capital markets.
Held in Hong Kong, the annual awards recognized VinFast as the Best Investor Relations Company, while Chief Financial Officer Nguyen Thi Lan Anh was named Asia’s Best CFO. The company’s Vice President of Investor Relations, Amandae Baey, also received the Best Investor Relations Professional award.
Organized by Corporate Governance Asia, the Asian Excellence Awards recognize companies and executives across the region for achievements in corporate governance, environmental, social and governance (ESG), and investor relations. This year’s recipients included companies from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, with VinFast standing as the only Vietnamese company to receive recognition.

According to the organizers, VinFast’s Best Investor Relations Company award shows its transparent disclosure practices, consistent engagement with investors and analysts, and proactive communication with the financial community. Meanwhile, the Asia’s Best CFO award recognizes finance executives who demonstrate strong leadership in maintaining financial stability, raising capital effectively, and guiding companies through changing market conditions.
Nguyen Thi Lan Anh described the awards as meaningful recognition of VinFast’s efforts to build a global business founded on advanced governance standards. She added that the company intends to continue improving transparency, governance, and stakeholder engagement to foster long-term trust in international markets.
The momentous recognitions follow a series of awards VinFast has collected over the past year across investment, technology, sustainability, design, and electric mobility. Among them are honors from the CNN Indonesia Awards, the Autocar India Awards 2026, inclusion in TIME magazine’s Asia-Pacific’s Best Companies of 2025 ranking, and six APAC Effie Awards.
While these accolades extend beyond vehicle development itself, they signal VinFast’s ambition to establish credibility not only as an electric vehicle manufacturer but also as a company seeking stronger investor confidence around the world.
Autocar’s Take
Awards for investor relations rarely generate the same excitement as a new vehicle launch, but they can be just as important. As VinFast continues its global expansion, earning recognition for transparency, governance, and investor engagement helps strengthen confidence among shareholders and potential partners. The VinFast Asian Excellence Awards 2026 victories suggest the company understands that long-term success depends not only on building competitive electric vehicles but also on building trust. In a rapidly evolving EV industry where investors closely watch every move, strong governance could become one of VinFast’s most valuable competitive advantages.
