Nissan Philippines continues to revamp its model lineup as it introduces two new vehicles in its portfolio: the Navara Pro PHEV and the Primera EV. These two new vehicles are expected to further drive Nissan’s sales push in the local market.
The Nissan Navara Pro PHEV is available in the Philippines with two variant options, the top-spec LE 4×4 and the VL 4×4. The Navara Pro PHEV comes standard with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and auto-folding electric side mirrors. Unique to the top-spec VL 4×4 variant are the powered cargo bed cover and the powered auto-extending side steps. The LE 4×4 trim, on the other hand, comes with fixed side steps and standard tie-down hooks.
Under the hood, both Nissan Navara Pro PHEVs are powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It produces 209 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque. The LE 4×4 has an electronic locking rear differential, which is absent on the VL 4×4 trim.

When it comes to pricing, Nissan Philippines is offering the Navara Pro PHEV with special introductory pricing. The entry-level Navara Pro PHEV VL variant comes with an intro price of P2,448,000 (SRP: P2,498,000), while the top-spec LE trim has an intro price of P2,648,000 (SRP: P2,698,000).
On the other hand, the Nissan Primera EV is offered with a single variant option in the local market that’s equipped with LED headlights along with LED daytime running lights and sequential turn signals. It also has an illuminated Nissan emblem, and sits on a set of 18-inch alloy wheels while having disc brakes on all four wheels.
The Nissan Primera EV is powered by a permanent magnet synchronous electric motor producing 215 horsepower and 305 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels. It also has a 58 kWh battery pack that provides an NEDC-rated range of 500 kilometers on a single charge, according to Nissan.
Nissan Philippines is offering the Primera EV with a sticker price of P2,099,000.

Autocar’s Take
Nissan Philippines continues to revamp its model lineup as it now officially has the Navara Pro PHEV and the Primera EV, which are vehicles that were showcased alongside by the already available X-Trail e-Power and Kicks e-Power during the Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) last June. This shows that Nissan is committed to reestablishing its presence and foothold in the local market, which is continuously expanding due to the arrival of new Chinese brands. Through its new models, such as the Navara Pro PHEV and the Primera EV, Nissan PH intends to drive its sales on an upward trend.
