Ford shared that the Philippines is among the top three export markets for the Ranger Raptor, joining Australia and South Africa. The Blue Oval brand said that this proves the Ranger Raptor’s sustained popularity and continued demand among Filipino customers.
The Ranger Raptor was first introduced in the market in 2018, and since then it has reached a cumulative production of over 215,000 units. Ford said that the Ranger Raptor has managed to be the market’s benchmark for high-performance off-road pickups, as it is a truck that seamlessly blends racing DNA, advanced technology, and world-class engineering.
The Ford Ranger Raptor was designed and engineered by the car brand’s product development teams in Australia, a country that’s known to have a strong affinity with pickup trucks or utes. The Ranger Raptor was then produced in Thailand, with the first production model rolling off at the Ford Thailand Manufacturing (FTM) plant in Rayong province, Thailand, on June 25, 2018.
In 2023, Ford introduced the Ranger Raptor to the North American market, launching production at its Michigan Assembly Plant in the United States. Today, FTM remains the primary global production and export hub, shipping the Ranger Raptor to 106 countries worldwide.

In the Philippines, Ford reported last November 2025 that it has reached a milestone for the Ranger Raptor V6, as it completed its first year in the local market with a community of 1,000 owners nationwide. Ford Philippines said that the local market’s strong demand led it to officially include the Ranger Raptor’s V6 variant.
Developed by Ford Performance, the Ranger Raptor V6 is equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 EcoBoost gasoline engine, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It’s rated at 397 horsepower and 583 Nm of torque. The Ranger Raptor V6 rides on a set of Fox 2.5-inch Live Valve Internal Bypass shock absorbers. It also comes with seven selectable drive modes, including the Baja mode intended for high-speed off-road driving.
“The Ranger Raptor has completely redefined what a high-performance pickup can be, and its sustained demand in the country is a testament to its unmatched capabilities. This milestone shows that Filipino enthusiasts truly appreciate the world-class engineering and sheer capability that Ford Performance builds into every Raptor. It has transcended from being just a pickup truck and has become a lifestyle symbol and a badge of success for a rapidly growing community of proud owners across the country,” said Ford PH Managing Director Pedro Simoes.

Autocar’s Take
The Ford Ranger Raptor is one of the most popular pickup trucks in the Philippines, and as a testament to this, the Philippines is among the top three export markets for the Ranger Raptor, joining Australia and South Africa. This is significant information since it proves that the Ranger Raptor is among the top pickup trucks among local consumers. With its go-anywhere capability, it has managed to build its customer base and has even given Ford Philippines the confidence to offer the Ranger Raptor with a V6 gasoline engine. That alone is a testament to the Ranger Raptor’s appeal in the local market.
