Xpeng Philippines has opened pre-sales for the X9, giving Filipino buyers an early chance to reserve the brand’s flagship electric MPV ahead of its official Philippine launch later this month.
Only a limited number of units from the first batch are available, with reservations now open for P25,000. Customers who proceed with a purchase will also receive P10,000 worth of EV charging credits and an exclusive Xpeng First Circle Gift Set upon vehicle delivery.
The X9 arrives as a seven-seater designed to combine the space and comfort expected from a premium MPV with Xpeng’s focus on electrification and intelligent technology. The model has already recorded more than 55,000 deliveries across China and other Asia-Pacific markets, giving it an established presence before its Philippine arrival.
One of the X9’s most noticeable departures from conventional MPV design is its exterior. Rather than relying on the traditional upright and boxy shape, the X9 uses a streamlined, Starship-inspired silhouette with sharp angular lines. It measures 5,316 mm long, 1,988 mm wide and 1,785 mm tall, riding on a 3,160-mm wheelbase. Its 0.236 drag coefficient is also designed to support efficiency and a quieter ride at speed.
Power comes from a front-mounted electric motor producing 235 kW and 450 Nm of torque. Xpeng says the X9 can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in 7.75 seconds. Its 110-kWh NCM battery provides up to 615 km of WLTP range, while the 800-volt silicon carbide platform supports DC charging of up to 542 kW. Under specified optimal conditions with a compatible high-capacity charger, a 10-to-80-percent charge can take approximately 12 minutes.
Despite its size, the Xpeng X9 is designed to remain manageable in tighter spaces. Its active rear-wheel steering reduces the minimum turning radius to 5.4 meters, while the dual-chamber air suspension can adjust ground clearance between 100 and 190 mm.
Inside, the X9 focuses heavily on passenger comfort and flexibility. Its third-row seats fold electrically into the floor, increasing cargo capacity from 721 liters with all seats upright to as much as 2,554 liters. The cabin also features zero-gravity second-row seats, a 21.4-inch rear entertainment display, a 27-speaker XOPERA audio system and an integrated refrigerator.
Technology extends to the cockpit through Xmart OS, a 17.3-inch central display, a windshield head-up display, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto and XPilot Assist driver-assistance features. The 2026 X9 has also received a five-star Euro NCAP safety rating.
Final Philippine pricing, warranty coverage and delivery schedules will be announced at Xpeng’s official launch in September.

The Xpeng X9 looks like a serious attempt to shake up the premium MPV market in the Philippines. Instead of simply offering more space and luxury, it combines those familiar qualities with the advantages of a pure-electric powertrain and a surprisingly long list of intelligent features.
The 615-km WLTP range and 12-minute 10-to-80-percent charging claim are particularly interesting for an electric MPV of this size. Then there is the 5.4-meter turning radius, which could make the X9 considerably easier to live with in tight urban spaces. With Philippine pricing still to come, this particular Chinese model is certainly one to watch.
