Geely Philippines has outlined its product and market roadmap leading into 2026, signaling a renewed energy to expand its local lineup across multiple segments. In a recent press event, it highlighted some of its biggest 2025 accomplishments, previewed several upcoming models, and laid out its big business plans to make 2026 its banner year to rise through the ranks among the country’s top-performing car brands.
Geely Philippines’ 2025 wins
In February 2025, Geely Philippines relaunched its brand under a new management in the form of the Geely Automotive International Corporation (GAIC). With a new leadership team, the Chinese carmaker managed to locally introduce new models, primarily the Geely EX5 and Geely Okavango Elite. The former is Geely’s first-ever full-electric SUV in the country with an 11-in-1 intelligent electric drive system and fast charging capability from 30% to 80% in under 20 minutes. The latter, on the other hand, is Geely’s entry in the 7-seat hybrid SUV segment, with the only model in its class to offer seven fully independent seats for optimum comfort and cabin spaciousness.
Geely Philippines also strengthened its customer relationship strategies. Examples of this are its mall displays featuring the EX5 and Okavango Elite, its attractive promos, and the continued improvement of its parts warehouse to ensure parts availability at all times.
The event went on to highlight some models Geely Philippines is planning to introduce to the local market in 2026. Based on the product/model codes shown during the event, here are the upcoming Geely models you can expect to arrive next year. Note that their names could change when they arrive locally, but we’re quite positive that these are the exact models we’ll see.

Geely Galaxy Starship 7
One of the confirmed models is the Geely Galaxy Starship 7. The Galaxy Starship 7 is a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) developed under Geely’s Galaxy new-energy vehicle lineup. It brings efficiency-oriented paired with modern in-cabin technology. Geely Philippines says it will introduce the model in Q1 of 2026 to compete with the BYD Sealion 6 and Ford Territory.

Geely EX2
Another model mentioned was Geely EX2, a small car slated for a Q2 2026 debut. The EX2 is a battery-electric compact hatchback aimed at urban users. Positioned against models like the BYD Seagull and Dolphin, it was highlighted for its space efficiency, driving range, and technology features. Also known in China as the Geely Xingyuan, the brand is placing the model as a way to introduce its customers to the world of Geely electrified vehicles.

Geely Monjaro
The third model, which is set to debut in Q3 2026, is the Geely Monjaro, a premium SUV that blends elegant design with advanced technology and comfort. Geely Philippines sees the Monjaro as a worthy competitor to the BYD Sealion 6 and Honda HR-V. It flaunts a “Milky Way Surge” grille, energy-matrix headlights, and a sleek profile, complemented by a spacious cabin featuring electronically adjustable seats with massage functions, and an infotainment system running on the latest Geely One operating system.

Geely-Badged Proton Saga
Geely also mentioned its plan to introduce a model in Q4 2026 to compete with the Mitsubishi Mirage G4 and the Toyota Vios. It’s the Geely-badged version of the Proton Saga, which uses the AMA (Advanced Modular Architecture) platform as a result of Geely’s technical partnership with Malaysian carmaker Proton. It’s a gasoline-powered sedan intended as an accessible, value-oriented offering with stylish looks and stable handling.

Geely Emgrand Hybrid
The last upcoming model mentioned was the PHEV variant of the Geely Emgrand sedan. Also planned for its local debut in Q4 2026, this model could enter the country as the hybridized version of the next-generation Emgrand, featuring a more elegant styling, a bigger body, a tech-savvy interior, and overall improvements over the previous generation. If it arrives, Geely Philippines is positioning it to even out the odds against the BYD Seal 5 and Honda City.
Looking forward to 2026
Though these five new models are being geared up for their local debut, it’s still too early to tell if Geely Philippines will retain the model names or specs. What’s certain is that 2026 is looking big for the brand, especially with its goal to rise against the competition in a span of one year.
Aside from introducing new models, Geely Philippines plans to add over 40 dealerships by the end of 2026. This is part of its mission to reach 2nd place among the best-performing Chinese car brands in the Philippines, as well as to attain 8th place among all car brands in the country in terms of sales.
