Chinese car brand Aito is expanding its presence in the Philippines as it introduces its lineup of premium intelligent new-energy vehicles, led by the Aito M7 and the flagship Aito M9, marking the brand’s entry into the country’s growing luxury electrified vehicle segment.
The brand, whose name stands for “Adding Intelligence To Auto,” is positioning itself as a technology-focused alternative in the premium SUV market. It does the job by combining electrified powertrains with advanced intelligent driving and cabin systems.
Among its headline features is autonomous parking technology that allows the Aito M9 to park itself without a driver inside the vehicle. The flagship SUV can drive itself from its parking space to pick up its owner, highlighting the brand’s focus on next-generation mobility. The M9 also showcases an intelligent cockpit, premium entertainment features, and advanced safety systems. According to Aito, the M9 has become a strong seller in its home market, outperforming the combined sales of two leading European luxury brands within its price category.

The Aito M7, meanwhile, is aimed at families and professionals looking for a spacious luxury SUV with intelligent features. It offers a flexible cabin layout, advanced driver-assistance systems, and a range-extended electric powertrain.
Both SUVs feature connected cabin technologies and tech-focused driving assistance systems that aim to make everyday driving more convenient while maintaining premium levels of craftsmanship, materials, and interior refinement. The company said its vehicles are built at the Aito Super Factory in Chongqing, China. The fully automated facility spans approximately 1.83 million square meters and has an annual production capacity of more than 700,000 vehicles.
Locally, Aito Philippines continues to grow its retail footprint. The brand currently operates showrooms in EDSA Greenhills and Bonifacio Global City, while dealerships in Pampanga and Cebu are also part of its network. A flagship full-service dealership along Quezon Avenue is expected to join the lineup.

Autocar’s Take
Aito enters the Philippine market at a time when buyers are becoming more receptive to premium new-energy vehicles that offer more than just electric power. While autonomous features like self-parking and self-pickup grab attention, long-term success will depend on how well the brand delivers ownership support, reliability, and after-sales service. Still, the Aito M7 and Aito M9 bring a fresh approach to intelligent luxury mobility by combining advanced technology with premium comfort. If Filipino consumers embrace these innovations, Aito could become a serious contender in the country’s evolving premium electric SUV segment.
