Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) is doubling down on hybrid mobility this June with a new campaign aimed at making electrified vehicles more accessible to Filipino buyers. Called “Hybrid Power, Honda Trust,” the promo highlights the brand’s growing e:HEV lineup, led by the Honda HR-V RS e:HEV, while also extending flexible financing options across its other models.

Running from June 8 to 30, 2026, the campaign follows Honda’s strengthened push toward electrification showcased during the 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). The company says the initiative underscores its commitment to the spirit of “Omotenashi,” or customer-centered hospitality. This is characterized by easing the transition to hybrid ownership through lower monthly amortizations and more manageable financing packages.

At the center of the campaign is the 2026 Honda HR-V RS e:HEV E-CVT, now available with a monthly amortization for as low as P29,196.. The hybrid crossover has become one of HCPI’s most popular offerings, combining a sporty coupe-like silhouette with the efficiency and refinement of Honda’s self-charging hybrid technology.

The HR-V RS e:HEV stands out not only for its electrified powertrain, but also for how approachable it feels in everyday driving. It balances modern design with practicality. Inside, the cabin remains one of the strongest points of the model, featuring a clean dashboard layout, supportive seats, and thoughtful ergonomics that make daily commutes less tiring. Rear passenger space is generous for the segment, while the cargo area remains flexible enough for family use or weekend trips.

Honda’s hybrid system also gives the HR-V RS e:HEV a smoother and quieter driving character, particularly in city traffic where electric drive operation is most noticeable. The result is a crossover that feels premium without becoming intimidating to own.

The campaign likewise extends to the Civic RS e:HEV E-CVT, available for as low as P32,296 monthly amortization, and the CR-V RS e:HEV AWD E-CVT, which comes with an all-in downpayment offer starting at P106,000 under a 15% downpayment plan.

Meanwhile, HCPI continues its Step Up Pay Plan Promo for selected internal combustion engine (ICE) models in partnership with BPI. The financing program covers the Honda City, City Hatchback, BR-V, and select HR-V variants, giving young professionals and growing families lower starting amortizations over a 60-month term.

Autocar’s Take

Among Honda’s current hybrid offerings, the HR-V RS e:HEV stands out as one of the most well-rounded options. It offers fuel efficiency, refinement, and everyday comfort in a package that’s familiar and approachable for many Filipino buyers. That balance could prove important as more motorists begin exploring electrified vehicles while keeping practicality high on their list of priorities.

With fuel prices still fluctuating and interest in hybrid technology continuing to grow, financing programs such as ‘Hybrid Power, Honda Trust’ may help make the transition easier for a wider audience. The next step is turning that initial interest into long-term confidence in hybrid ownership.
