GAC Philippines is giving prospective electric vehicle buyers another incentive to make the switch this year, offering a free home wall charger and two years of preventive maintenance service with purchases of the Aion UT and Aion V.
The limited-time program covers customers who purchase and take delivery of a brand-new GAC Aion UT or Aion V from September 1 to December 31, 2026. The package includes a complimentary 7-kW wall charger and two years of free preventive maintenance service (PMS).
The 7-kW charger operates at 32 amps and is designed for use with standard Philippine residential 220V electrical lines. According to GAC Philippines, it can replenish a standard 60-kWh battery from low to full in around eight hours, making overnight charging a practical option for owners with access to home charging.
The charger also uses a connector compatible with GAC Aion vehicle ports, giving buyers a dedicated home-charging solution as part of the purchase package.
The other component of the offer covers scheduled maintenance for two years. However, the free PMS is subject to specific conditions. Customers can redeem the benefit only at the authorized service center of the dealer from which they purchased the vehicle. They must also present the PMS voucher and vehicle records during each visit, while maintenance must follow GAC’s prescribed schedule and intervals.
The program covers labor and parts specifically required under standard preventive maintenance.
GAC Philippines President Calvin Cheng said the program is intended to make EV ownership more convenient while recognizing customer support for the two Aion models.
Beyond the promotion, GAC Philippines says it currently supports its customers through a nationwide network of 30 dealerships, a dedicated parts warehouse, and two years of free roadside assistance.
The automaker also provides different warranty coverage depending on the type of vehicle. Its Aion UT and Aion V, along with the HYPTEC HT, receive an eight-year or 160,000-km basic warranty, whichever comes first. The traction battery and electric drive are covered for eight years or 200,000 km, subject to the specified milestone.
The offer comes as EV ownership in the Philippines continues to place greater emphasis on charging accessibility and running costs. For buyers considering an Aion UT or Aion V, having a home charger included from the outset removes one of the practical considerations that comes with switching to an electric vehicle.
The promotional program runs until December 31, 2026, giving eligible customers through the end of the year to avail themselves of the package.
