The 14th Philippine EV Summit (PEVS 2026) is set to offer Filipinos a closer look at electric mobility as pump prices rise again, with organizers making this year’s event more accessible through discounted registration and free admission for students.
The Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) said the early bird pass for PEVS 2026 will remain available for P50 until September 30. That is half the regular gate price. Students can also enter for free by presenting a valid Student ID.
The three-day summit will run from October 22 to 24, 2026, at the SMX Convention Center at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City.
EVAP President Willy Tee Ten said the event is intended to help people who are considering an electric vehicle but may not know where to begin. Beyond displaying vehicles, the summit is expected to cover practical questions involving ownership costs, financing, charging and changes in everyday driving habits.
The organization also said PEVS 2026 will look beyond four-wheel electric vehicles, with two-wheelers and other parts of the electric mobility ecosystem included in the event. Topics will range from charging and safety to government policy and investment, with discussions framed around the Philippines and the wider ASEAN region.
For visitors, the summit will include opportunities to test drive the latest EV models and explore charging solutions ranging from home installations to larger industrial setups. Banking, financing and insurance partners will also be available for discussions, while policy sessions are set to include representatives from the Department of Energy.
The exhibitor lineup includes ACMobility Holdings Inc., the AutoHub Group of Companies, Toyota Motor Philippines and the Department of Energy. Nissan Philippines, Autowise, Pioneer Trucks, Dongfeng Motors, MERALCO and several companies involved in charging, insurance and electric mobility technology are also listed among the participating exhibitors.
With fuel prices continuing to influence household and business decisions, the timing gives PEVS 2026 a practical angle. For Filipinos curious about whether EV ownership can fit their budget and routine, the summit will provide a chance to examine the technology, supporting infrastructure and financial considerations in one place.
