Jetour Auto Philippines has emerged as the Philippines’ top-selling plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) brand for the first half of 2026, according to figures from the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI).
The recognition gives Jetour its strongest sales performance among CAMPI members so far this year, with the company attributing the result to growing consumer interest in its Lightning i-DM PHEV lineup and its expanding nationwide support network.
Jetour’s electrified lineup currently includes the T1 Lightning i-DM, T2 Lightning i-DM, and X70 Lightning i-DM. The company says these models have attracted Filipino buyers looking for the benefits of electrified mobility while retaining practicality, performance and capability.
But Jetour Auto Philippines is also pointing to what happens after a vehicle leaves the showroom. Its parent company, United Asia Automotive Group, Inc. (UAAGI), has spent more than two decades building its dealership, parts, training and after-sales infrastructure in the local market.
A key component is UAAGI’s 8,700-square-meter Base 2 facility in Valenzuela, which houses approximately 986,000 spare parts. The company reports an average parts fill rate of around 94%, with availability targeted within 24 hours for Metro Manila dealerships and up to three days for outlets in the Visayas and Mindanao.

UAAGI also opened its Center for Technical Excellence in Valenzuela in January 2026. The 1,200-square-meter facility serves as a central training hub for its six automotive brands and can accommodate up to 120 trainees. Training covers areas ranging from diagnostics and vehicle systems to hybrid and electric vehicle technologies.
For Jetour, the investment comes as its dealer network continues to expand. The brand is building a nationwide network of nearly 30 dealerships, with its presence already extending across Metro Manila, Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao. The wider UAAGI network consists of 126 unified dealerships nationwide.
Jetour also maintains a dedicated Customer Care Center that assists with inquiries, test drives, service appointments and emergency support. Its Kendee Hotline offers messaging support around the clock.
With the first half of 2026 now in the books, Jetour says it intends to keep expanding its dealer and service network while introducing more electrified models.
The PHEV sales leadership gives the company momentum, but it also raises the bar. As more Filipinos consider electrified vehicles, the ability to back those products with accessible service, parts and technical expertise could prove just as important as the vehicles themselves.
Autocar’s Take
Jetour’s first-half PHEV sales leadership is an interesting development in a Philippine market that’s now becoming more receptive to electrified vehicles. The Lightning i-DM lineup clearly gives the brand a strong proposition, but selling PHEVs is only one part of the equation. Ownership support matters just as much, particularly for buyers making the transition from conventional vehicles.
Jetour’s investment in dealerships, parts distribution and technical training gives its electrification push a more substantial foundation. The real test, however, will be maintaining that support as the number of Jetour PHEV owners grows. For now, becoming the top-selling PHEV brand gives Jetour a strong platform to build on.
