Jaecoo J6 EV has 421 km driving range on single charge

New energy vehicles are gaining momentum in the local market due to erratic fuel prices, which have seen an upward trend since early this year. The Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) and Truck Manufacturers Association (TMA) report that automotive sales in the local market totaled 33,532 units in May 2026. 

To put things in perspective, CAMPI and TMA shared that the total new energy vehicles sold in the Philippines in May account for 6,027 units, which makes up 18 percent of the total units sold in May. Battery Electric Vehicles posted 1,843 units sold, accounting for a 30.6 percent share among new energy vehicles.

The Jaecoo J6 combines a bold and composed stance, which is highlighted by its boxy exterior. The car brand also pointed out that the J6 comes with instant electric torque that delivers smooth, responsive acceleration while producing zero emissions, which is expected considering the J6 is an EV.

Jaecoo PH is offering two J6 variants, which include the following:

– Jaecoo J6 RWD: P1,649,000

– Jaecoo J6 AWD: P1,799,000

It is available in four exterior colors: Black, White, Green, and Silver, allowing customers to choose the finish that best reflects their personality and lifestyle.

The Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) variant produces 184 horsepower and 220 Nm of torque, while the All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variant delivers a combined 275 horsepower and 385 Nm of torque through its dual-motor electric powertrain.

Powered by a 69.77 kWh LFP battery, the Jaecoo J6 delivers a driving range of up to 421 kilometers (NEDC) on a single charge. Speaking of charging, the J6 supports DC fast charging, allowing the battery to charge from 30 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes.

Inside, the Jaecoo J6 features a modern cabin, highlighted by a 15.6-inch floating infotainment touchscreen, 9.2-inch digital instrument cluster, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Sony premium sound system, 360-degree panoramic camera, panoramic sunroof, power-adjustable seats, and a comprehensive suite of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), including Adaptive Cruise Control, Lane Keeping Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Autonomous Emergency Braking, and Traffic Jam Assist.

The Jaecoo J6 electric SUV has a bold and commanding stance, which is highlighted by its boxy exterior, making it distinctive when spotted on the road. Aside from its boxy body, the J6’s headlights and daytime running lights further make it a standout SUV. Its light pattern on the front end also gives it a sharp look, and it is complemented by a large front bumper, which adds muscle to the vehicle. Available in two variants with a starting price of P1,649,000, the Jaecoo J6 is available in four exterior colors: Black, White, Green, and Silver.
