Jetour Auto Philippines has expanded its model lineup with the launch of the S08 i-DM, a seven-seater plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV). The Chinese car brand said that the S08 i-DM PHEV combines modern styling, smart interior features, and a notable plug-in hybrid powertrain.

The Jetour S08 i-DM PHEV comes with a refined yet sharp-looking exterior. Up front, it is integrated with Jetour’s stellar panoramic daytime running lights that are paired with LED headlights, giving the vehicle a commanding presence. Turning to the side, the vehicle comes with crisp character lines, and it rides on 20-inch alloy wheels. The rear, on the other hand, gets distinctive taillights with what Jetour calls a “waterfall” design.

In terms of dimensions, the Jetour S08 i-DM measures 4,810mm long, 1,930mm wide, and 1,705mm tall, along with a wheelbase of 2,820mm. To put things in perspective, the Jetour S08 i-DM is sized closely with the likes of the Mitsubishi Montero Sport.

Inside, it has a dark interior theme that’s accented by white stitching and features a clutter-free dashboard layout. Noticeable on the dashboard is the driver-oriented (leans more towards the driver’s side) 15.6-inch infotainment touchscreen. It also comes with a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, a 12-speaker surround sound system, and a wireless phone charger.

When it comes to the seats, power-adjustable seats are fitted for all three rows, and the third row includes a power fold function. Of note, the front seats come equipped with both cooling and heating functions. Jetour PH added that the S08 i-DM features multiple seating configurations, which include Queen Bed Mode, Nap Mode, and Car Wash Mode.

The Jetour S08 i-DM PHEV is also equipped with a 21-point Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS), a 360-degree HD camera with a chassis view, front and rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control, and an on-board DVR dashcam.

Under the hood, the Jetour S08 i-DM pairs a 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with an electric dual-motor setup. This setup produces a combined power output of 342 horsepower and 525 Nm of torque. It also has an 18.4 kWh battery pack that supports CCS2 charging, and it is claimed to offer up to 85 kilometers of pure electric driving range (WLTC). Meanwhile, Jetour PH said that the S08 i-DM has a total combined driving range of up to 1,000 kilometers.

The Jetour S08 i-DM PHEV is now available in the Philippines with an introductory price of P1,748,000. Of note, its standard retail price is P1,798,000.
