PH auto Industry shines as PIMS 2026 gains 55,544 attendees

The 10th Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS) concluded its four-day run on a strong note. The event drew 55,544 visitors to the World Trade Center Metro Manila from June 4 to 7 and reaffirmed its status as one of the country’s premier automotive events.

As with its previous stagings, this edition was Organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI). It carried the theme “Forward in Every Drive,” bringing together automotive brands, industry leaders, government stakeholders, and car enthusiasts to showcase the latest developments shaping the future of mobility in the Philippines.

A total of 17 automotive brands participated in this year’s PIMS, including BAIC, Chery, Foton, Geely, Honda, Isuzu, Jetour, Kia, MG, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Omoda & Jaecoo, Subaru, Suzuki, Tesla, Toyota, and VinFast. The exhibition featured 100 vehicle displays and 26 product launches and unveilings, highlighting the industry’s ongoing commitment to innovation, electrification, safety, and connectivity.

CAMPI President Jing Atienza said the positive response to the event reflects the strength of the Philippine automotive industry and the growing demand for reliable and energy-efficient mobility solutions among Filipino consumers.

Throughout the show, visitors explored a wide range of internal combustion engine vehicles, hybrid models, electric vehicles, and advanced automotive technologies designed to meet evolving transportation needs. Interactive displays, hands-on demonstrations, celebrity appearances, and live entertainment further enhanced the experience, attracting both seasoned automotive enthusiasts and first-time attendees.

One of the key highlights of PIMS 2026 was its expanded automotive aftermarket zone. The dedicated area brought together suppliers of tires, lubricants, performance upgrades, accessories, vehicle care products, and customization solutions. The showcase underscored the growing importance of the aftermarket industry in supporting vehicle ownership and personalization. Beyond the exhibits, the event also served as a gathering place for automotive communities and car clubs representing participating brands, strengthening connections among enthusiasts and fostering a deeper appreciation for automotive culture.

With strong support from sponsors and partners, including BPI and Motul, the 10th Philippine International Motor Show demonstrated the industry’s collaborative efforts to advance mobility solutions and drive innovation. As the Philippine automotive sector continues to evolve, PIMS remains a key platform for showcasing technologies and trends that will shape the future of transportation in the country.
