VinFast Philippines has expanded its model lineup with the official debut of the 2026 VF MPV 7, a seven-seater full-electric MPV that goes up against the likes of the BYD eMax 7. VinFast said that the VF MPV 7 is being marketed for individuals who are looking to upgrade from conventional seven-seater MPVs.

The Vietnamese car brand shared that the VF MPV 7 offers a “well-balanced solution combining spaciousness, strong performance, and competitive ownership costs,” making it an ideal family vehicle. It comes with a composed and sleek exterior design that resembles the overall look of the VinFast Limo Green. The 2026 VinFast VF MPV 7 is equipped with the car brand’s familiar V-shaped LED daytime running lights, complemented by a large front bumper that comes with a black accent.

“The launch of the VF MPV 7 in the Philippines marks another step forward in VinFast’s global expansion strategy and demonstrates our long-term commitment to this market. With its spacious interior, strong performance, optimized operating costs, and sustainable ownership value, we believe the VF MPV 7 will serve as a comprehensive upgrade for Filipino families and set a new benchmark in the MPV segment,” said VinFast Southeast Asia CEO Antonio Zara.

The sleek exterior styling continues to be seen at the side. It also comes with black cladding seen on the fender flares and side skirt, while the 19-inch alloy wheels add style points to the VF MPV 7’s side profile. In terms of dimensions, VinFast’s electric seven-seater MPV measures 4,740mm long, 1,872mm wide, and 1,734mm tall, along with a wheelbase of 2,840mm. As compared with the BYD eMax 7, the VinFast VF MPV 7 is 30mm longer, 62mm wider, and 44mm taller.

The rear, on the other hand, is fitted with distinctive taillights that wrap around the whole vehicle’s width. It also has a beefy bumper with black cladding, a roof spoiler integrated with a third brake light, and a shark-fin antenna.

Inside, it has a clean-looking and clutter-free dashboard layout, resulting in a rather simple yet aesthetically pleasing interior. The three-spoke steering wheel is mounted with essential controls, while the center console has a simple finish and features storage compartments and cup holders.

VinFast said that the interior is configured to maximize space and practicality, ensuring comfort for all occupants, including those in the third row. Cargo capacity reaches up to 1,240 liters, providing flexibility for both daily use and long-distance travel.

The 2026 VinFast VF MPV 7 is powered by an electric motor that delivers 204 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque, paired with a 60.13 kWh battery. It comes with a driving range of up to 450 kilometers (NEDC) on a full charge. Fast-charging capability allows the battery to charge from 10 percent to 70 percent in approximately 30 minutes.

Autocar’s Take

VinFast Philippines has expanded its model lineup with the official introduction of the VF MPV 7, a seven-seater all-electric MPV. With the launch of the VF MPV 7, VinFast PH now has a challenger in the seven-seat electric MPV segment, which includes the BYD eMax 7.

This allows VinFast to be more competitive in the local market, as Filipino car buyers value vehicles that can seat up to seven occupants. VinFast PH is also positioning the VF MPV 7 as a vehicle that would attract current MPV owners to make a “comprehensive upgrade” by driving home a seven-seat electric MPV.
