Hyundai Motor Philippines (HMPH) has partnered with grassroots football camps and clinics, as part of its local activations for the “Hyundai, Driving ASEAN as One” campaign. The car brand’s ASEAN campaign is highlighted by its title partnership for the Hyundai Cup 2026 that will take place from July 24 to August 26, 2026.

HMPH teamed up with football clinics in Metro Luzon to provide football equipment, which is intended to support aspiring young football talents in the Philippines, as well as encourage progressive growth in the sport. The Stargazer, the hero model of the Hyundai Cup 2026, will be featured alongside the Creta at the car brand’s football camps.

Hyundai PH shared that outstanding young football players will be handpicked to participate in the inaugural Hyundai Cup Fun Day, which is going to be held at the Ayala Vermosa Sports Hub on July 18. To make things more exciting, the young football players who will be selected to participate in the Hyundai Cup Fun Day will also get the chance to be Kids Escorts for the Hyundai Cup 2026 opening game in the Philippines.

The Hyundai Cup 2026 opening game in the Philippines will be on July 28. Hyundai PH shared that the young football players will have the opportunity to walk alongside the national teams of Myanmar and the Philippines at the New Clark City Athletics Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Korean car brand is also offering test drive opportunities for the Stargazer and the Creta at select Hyundai dealerships to get exclusive Hyundai Cup 2026 merchandise until August 31.

HMPH is proud to connect football fans all over the region through these activities. Beyond mobility, it also gives up-and-coming talents a chance to access the global football stage.

“We at Hyundai Motor Philippines have always advocated for excellence and passion in sports, more so when we get to support homegrown talents. We are happy to provide opportunities for these young footballers to showcase their potential and make their journey as athletes even more memorable,” said HMPH Managing Director Cecil Capacete.

“With local initiatives of the Hyundai Cup 2026, we underscore our role as a mobility partner for Filipino families, both on the road and on the football pitch,” Capacete added.

Autocar’s Take

Hyundai Motor Philippines has collaborated with football clinics in Metro Luzon to allow aspiring young football players to improve and develop their skills even further. This is a great opportunity for young talents to hone their craft even more and get the opportunity to compete with equally talented footballers.

Aside from holding football clinics, Hyundai PH is also going to select lucky football campers for the opportunity to be Kids Escorts for the Hyundai Cup 2026 opening game in the Philippines. This allows young football talents to get exposed to high-level football, and more importantly, it presents a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
