Tesla has opened reservations for its new Roadster in the Philippines and selected other markets, while introducing interior and equipment upgrades for the Model 3. The announcements give local customers two developments to consider, from a high-performance electric sports car to a more accessible entry point into Tesla ownership.
According to Tesla, the new Roadster draws design inspiration from the SR-71 aircraft and F-35 fighter jet. The company describes it as a driver-focused sports car designed to deliver performance beyond its Plaid models, with SpaceX components contributing to what it calls a new driving experience.
Reservations are now available online through Tesla’s Roadster website. However, prospective buyers will have to wait: production is scheduled to begin in 2028, and the vehicle will initially be offered only in left-hand drive. Its eventual availability will remain subject to applicable regional regulations.
Closer to the present, the Model 3 receives a refreshed interior and additional personalization options. All units now come standard with a larger 16-inch display and a black headliner, both offered at no additional cost. Customers can also choose a new Zen Grey interior and 19-inch Dark Nova wheels.

Tesla says the Model 3 offers a maximum driving range of up to 750 km under the WLTP test cycle in Premium Long Range Rear-Wheel Drive configuration. The company, meanwhile, said the Model 3 Performance All-Wheel Drive can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in about 3.1 seconds.
Monthly payments start at P29,990, according to Tesla Philippines. The updated Model 3 is currently being showcased at Tesla’s showroom in Bonifacio Global City, with orders available through its Philippine website.
Finally, Tesla is getting into the Halloween spirit with a software update that turns its cars into haunted houses on wheels. Features include a ghost avatar, spooky trick-or-treat sounds, flashing lights, and Halloween-themed light shows.
Owners can even use the Tesla app to remotely spook others, with their cars speaking in their own voices for an extra dose of Halloween fun.
Tesla Philippines is also promoting a range of limited-time ownership incentives. Eligible customers may receive free Supercharging credits, one year of complimentary comprehensive insurance, purchase incentives and a complimentary home charger. Financing options are available, while the Tesla Owners Club provides access to discounts and privileges from participating merchants.
The company’s referral program offers P6,500 in Tesla credits to existing owners for each referral and P13,000 to new buyers purchasing a vehicle through the program, subject to its terms.
Customers can also visit Tesla pop-up locations at Alabang Town Center, Opus Mall and SM City Clark, where the company is scheduled to maintain its Clark presence until November 5.

Autocar’s Take
Tesla’s latest announcements offer two very different reasons to pay attention. The Roadster promises serious performance, but with production scheduled for 2028, it remains a future prospect rather than an immediate buying option. The Model 3, on the other hand, gets useful equipment upgrades without additional cost for its larger display and black headliner.
The P29,990 starting monthly payment may also attract buyers exploring electric mobility, although financing terms and total ownership costs deserve careful consideration. For the Philippine market, the incentives could help, but long-term value will ultimately depend on charging access, after-sales support and everyday usability.
