Suzuki Philippines is gearing up for a major showing at the 2026 Philippine International Motor Show (PIMS). As such, the Japanese carmaker plans to highlight its growing electrified vehicle lineup and its evolving vision for future mobility.
Returning to the World Trade Center Metro Manila from June 4 to 7, Suzuki will carry the showcase theme “Come Alive: The New Era Begins,” aligning with the PIMS 2026’s direction, “Forward in Every Drive.” More than just a display of vehicles, the brand is positioning its booth as a preview of where Suzuki Philippines is heading in the years ahead.
Visitors to the Suzuki display can expect a mix of familiar nameplates and hybrid-powered models, including the Jimny 3-Door with Suzuki Safety Support, XL7 Hybrid Black Edition, Dzire Hybrid, and Fronx Hybrid. The lineup reflects the company’s continued focus on fuel efficiency, practical mobility, and accessible electrification for Filipino motorists.
Suzuki is also putting strong emphasis on visitor interaction during the four-day event. Test drives will be available for the Jimny 3-Door and 5-Door, S-Presso, Ertiga Hybrid, Fronx Hybrid, and Dzire Hybrid, giving attendees a closer look at the brand’s compact SUVs and hybrid vehicles in real-world driving conditions.

Entertainment and family-oriented activities are likewise part of Suzuki’s PIMS 2026 participation. The booth will feature guest performances, interactive games, the Suzuki Safety Scouts activity area for children, and exclusive event merchandise, including the newly launched Suzuki Fronx Shirt.
Still, one of the biggest talking points surrounding Suzuki’s return to PIMS is the mystery vehicle hinted at in its announcement — a “global electrified model” that will headline a special launch presentation on opening day.
While Suzuki Philippines has yet to officially confirm the vehicle, industry observers believe the highly anticipated Suzuki e-Vitara is the most likely candidate. The fully electric SUV has already generated attention internationally and has been widely discussed as a possible addition to the Philippine EV market.
If the Suzuki e-Vitara does make its local debut at PIMS 2026, it would mark a significant milestone for the brand’s electrification efforts in the country. More importantly, it could give Filipino buyers another compact electric SUV option from a mainstream manufacturer already familiar to a broader range of local consumers. For Suzuki Philippines, the upcoming auto show may not simply be about showcasing cars — it may also signal the beginning of its next chapter in the local automotive industry.

Autocar’s Take
The possible arrival of the Suzuki e-Vitara at PIMS 2026 is a logical next step for Suzuki Philippines. The local market has now become more open to electric vehicles, but many buyers still want something compact, familiar, and practical. That’s exactly where Suzuki usually performs best.
What makes this exciting is that Suzuki isn’t abandoning its identity while moving toward electrification. Models like the Fronx Hybrid, XL7 Hybrid, and Ertiga Hybrid already show the brand understands what Filipino motorists actually use every day. If the e-Vitara officially arrives, it could become one of the more approachable electric SUVs for buyers entering the EV space for the first time.
