BAIC Philippines is committed to offering its valued clients comprehensive aftersales support, as it has launched its enhanced warranty program that includes extended coverage for its products’ high-voltage batteries.
BAIC PH claims that its new-energy lineup gets even stronger protection, as its high-voltage battery warranty extends to eight years or 160,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. The Chinese car brand said that this extended battery warranty addresses one of the common hesitations among individuals who are considering the shift to hybrid and electric mobility, which is uncertainty over battery life and long-term cost. To put things in perspective, BAIC PH previously offered a five-year warranty for its product’s battery.
Complementing the extended eight-year battery warranty, BAIC PH is still offering a five-year or 150,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first. The car brand said that this five-year general warranty covers core components against manufacturing defects. BAIC added that its 5-year warranty reflects the brand’s confidence in the durability of every model that carries its badge.
Aside from the 8-year battery warranty and 5-year general warranty, BAIC PH also includes three years of roadside assistance for free. From a flat tire to a battery concern to a simple tow, help is built into the ownership experience from day one, whether owners are navigating daily traffic or on a long drive outside the city.
As such, BAIC PH said that its warranty program, along with free roadside assistance, makes its ownership package one of the most comprehensive in the local market. This initiative is further supported by BAIC’s goal of expanding its nationwide service network.
Speaking of which, BAIC has expanded its presence in the Visayas with the opening of a new dealership in Cebu City. It has also partnered with MG Gateway Mantrade Corp., which is set to open three new BAIC dealerships, which will rise on Manila Bay, Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, and Matina in Davao.
