Philippine Manufacturing Week 2026 opened today at the World Trade Center Metro Manila, bringing together two of the country’s biggest industrial trade exhibitions under one roof. Running from July 23 to 25, the event combines the 3rd Auto Parts and Vehicles Expo (APVE) Philippines and the 12th Philippine Die and Mould Machinery and Equipment Exhibition (PDMEX), highlighting the latest developments in manufacturing, automotive components, and precision engineering.
Organizers positioned the three-day gathering as a platform that connects businesses across the manufacturing value chain, from tooling and component production to automotive aftermarket products and services. This year’s edition is also expected to attract around 8,000 manufacturers, engineers, distributors, procurement specialists, government representatives, and other industry stakeholders.
The opening ceremony featured officials from several government agencies, who emphasized manufacturing’s role in supporting economic growth and industrial competitiveness.
Representing the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA), Deputy Director General for Operations Vivian Santos said the agency remains committed to strengthening the country’s manufacturing sector through investment incentives, infrastructure development, and supportive policies designed to make the Philippines a more competitive manufacturing hub within ASEAN.
Meanwhile, Cooperative Development Authority Chairperson Ferdinand Jesus Ortega highlighted programs that aim to strengthen transport cooperatives and automotive enterprises, particularly through financing opportunities and capacity-building initiatives that also benefit micro, small, and medium enterprises.
One of the event’s biggest draws is the continued expansion of APVE. The automotive exhibition has grown its exhibitor base with participants from several countries, including China, Taiwan, and Thailand, reflecting increasing regional interest in the Philippine automotive aftermarket and components industry.
PDMEX, co-organized with the Philippine Die and Mold Association (PDMA), focuses on precision tooling and manufacturing technologies that support industries ranging from automotive to consumer electronics. Exhibitors are showcasing equipment and solutions covering robotics, advanced welding, digital manufacturing, and quality control.
Conference sessions throughout the event cover topics such as electric vehicle technology, automotive aftermarket opportunities, fleet modernization, robotics integration, precision engineering, and digital transformation in manufacturing.
According to Informa Markets Philippines Country General Manager Rungphech Chitanuwat, bringing APVE and PDMEX together allows visitors to explore the complete manufacturing ecosystem in a single venue while encouraging collaboration across industries.
