Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI) said last December that the Prelude will be officially debuting in the market early this year, and it seems that the preparations for its arrival are underway, as the initial specs have already been revealed.
HCPI uploaded the initial PH specs of the upcoming Prelude to the Department of Energy’s (DOE) list of recognized electric vehicles. As such, we can confirm that the PH-spec 2026 Honda Prelude will come with a 2.0-liter e:HEV hybrid gasoline engine that delivers a max output of 182 horsepower and 315 Nm of torque.
The engine is mated to an electronically-controlled continuously variable transmission (E-CVT) that features the new Honda S+ Shift. The S+ Shift is a sport-focused drive system that sharpens throttle response, simulates gear shifts in the e-CVT, and delivers a more engaging, performance-oriented feel.

The Honda Prelude for the PH market will come with a 2+2 seat layout, along with LED headlights, LED daytime running lights, and LED taillights. The exterior also comes with gloss black trims, as well as a set of 19-inch alloy wheels and Brembo brake calipers.
Inside, the Prelude will come with a Blue and White perforated front leather seats with a six-way manual adjust for the driver and 4-way manual adjust for the front passenger. It also has a three-spoke leather steering wheel with blue stitching, and it is mounted with audio and other essential controls to activate Honda Sensing.

The Honda Prelude will also have a nine-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, complemented by a wireless phone charger, dual-zone automatic aircon, and an eight-speaker Bose sound system.
In terms of safety, the PH-spec 2026 Prelude will come with the full suite of Honda Sensing tech that includes the following: adaptive cruise control, low speed follow, collision mitigation braking system, forward collision warning, lane keeping assist system, lane departure warning, road departure mitigation, auto high beam, lead car departure notification system, and adaptive driving beam.
With the initial specs already revealed, it is only a matter of time before HCPI announces the official debut date of the 2026 Prelude.
