MG Philippines wants to help make its clients’ long-distance travel this Holy Week safer and more peaceful through its 2026 Holy Week Motorsist Assistance Program (MAP). The car brand’s 2026 Holy Week MAP is scheduled to run from April 2 to 5, which is from Maundy Thursday to Easter Sunday.
MG PH said that its select dealerships nationwide will remain operational during the Holy Week period, staffed with a full-service team. MG added that select MG dealers that will be open during this year’s Holy Week are more than ready to address customer needs. As part of its 2026 Holy Week MAP, MG PH said that its clients may avail of the following services from April 2 to 5, 2026:
– Free 36-point vehicle inspection
– Preventive Maintenance Service (PMS)
– On-site technical support and assistance
The car brand will launch the initiative to ensure that MG vehicles remain in optimal condition, providing customers with added confidence and peace of mind throughout the Holy Week travel, which usually involves long-distance journeys.

MG PH added that it will also be deploying motorist assistance stations in select locations along major thoroughfares. These stations will be ready to assist MG customers who may require immediate roadside support while traveling to and from their destinations.
MG is also encouraging motorists to conduct a pre-trip vehicle check to ensure that their respective vehicles are in good running condition. While roadside assistance services are being offered by car brands such as MG, it is best to keep one’s car in tip-top shape by not neglecting to do basic and essential vehicle maintenance.
Aside from MG, car brands such as Toyota Motor Philippines are also offering roadside assistance this Holy Week. Toyota will be running its free emergency roadside assistance at select dealerships nationwide and key locations in Cebu. This initiative intends to give motorists a safer and better journey during the Holy Week.
Chevrolet Philippines will also be launching its own roadside assistance this upcoming Holy Week. A total of 11 Chevrolet dealerships will participate, strategically positioned along major highways and travel corridors in North Luzon, Metro Manila, and South Luzon.

Autocar’s Take
MG Philippines joins car brands such as Toyota and Chevrolet in offering roadside assistance this Holy Week. The said initiative is a nice gesture from MG and other car brands, as it gives their respective clients a safer and more peaceful travel this Holy Week. MG PH will also be putting up motorist assistance stations in select locations along major thoroughfares. Although the car brand did not share in detail as to where these motorist assistance stations will be located.
While car brands offer roadside assistance during the Holy Week, having your car regularly checked is still the best practice. Prevention is better than cure, so they say. Moreover, making sure that your car is always in good running condition would go a long way, keeping repair costs to a minimum while making every trip safer.
