Changan Philippines is continuing to grow its retail footprint after Inchcape Philippines opened four new dealerships in key areas across Luzon and Mindanao, further expanding the Chinese automaker’s reach in the country.
The newest branches are located in Alabang, Butuan, Surigao, and Commonwealth, giving the brand a stronger presence in Metro Manila as well as Northern Mindanao and the Caraga Region. According to Inchcape Philippines, the expansion is part of its effort to make Changan’s products and aftersales services more accessible to Filipino customers.
In the south, Changan Alabang has opened at Westgate Center in Filinvest City through a partnership with Auto Icon Group. The dealership aims to serve motorists from Muntinlupa and nearby southern Metro Manila communities.
Meanwhile, Changan Butuan, operated by Global Cars Inc., strengthens the brand’s presence in the Caraga Region. The dealer group also partnered with Inchcape Philippines to establish Changan Surigao, extending the marque’s reach farther into northeastern Mindanao.
Completing the expansion is Changan Commonwealth in Quezon City, developed in collaboration with Ark Diversified. The dealership marks the first partnership between Inchcape Philippines and the dealer group, with the new facility expected to cater to customers from Quezon City and North Caloocan.
All four dealerships feature five-vehicle display showrooms and two service bays. Beyond vehicle sales, each facility provides preventive maintenance, general repairs, genuine spare parts, accessories, and body and paint services, allowing customers to handle most of their ownership needs in one location.
Ryan Bermudez, Franchise Head for Changan, thanked the company’s dealer partners for supporting the continued expansion of the brand. He said the new dealerships will help strengthen Changan’s presence in the Philippines while allowing Inchcape Philippines to further promote the brand’s lineup and services as it builds on Changan’s 160-year global heritage.
The latest expansion comes as Changan continues to widen its nationwide dealer network, reflecting the growing competition among Chinese automotive brands seeking a larger share of the Philippine market through improved sales and aftersales accessibility.
