QSJ Motors is taking its expanding electric vehicle (EV) lineup directly to consumers in Central Luzon. The opening of the QSJ EV Tour at SM City Clark, is doing just that, giving visitors a closer look at both passenger and commercial EVs in one venue.

Running from July 31 to August 9, the showcase highlights the company’s growing portfolio of electric mobility solutions designed for private motorists, entrepreneurs, and fleet operators. Instead of focusing solely on passenger cars, QSJ Motors is also putting its commercial EV range in the spotlight, reflecting trole EVs are beginning to play in business operations.

Leading the passenger display are the Bestune Pony and the Bestune Joyee 03. The Bestune Pony is offered in two variants with driving ranges of up to 170 km and 220 km, making it a city-focused option for daily commuting. The larger Bestune Joyee 03, meanwhile, targets buyers looking for a more premium electric crossover with additional space and features. Promotional cash prices are available for both models during the event.

Beyond personal transportation, QSJ Motors is also showcasing electric commercial vehicles, represented by its BAW (Beijing Automobile Works) brand. Under BAW, visitors can chcke out the BAW Dropside, BAW Closed Van, and Linxys Cargo Van. These models are aimed at businesses looking to reduce fuel and operating expenses while transitioning to cleaner transport solutions for deliveries and logistics.

According to QSJ Motors Marketing Manager Angela Miranda-Asebuche, electric mobility has already evolved beyond being a future concept and has become a practical transportation option available today. The company says its objective is to help more Filipinos experience EVs firsthand while demonstrating how they can improve efficiency and lower operating costs for both private and commercial users.

Following its Clark leg, the company plans to continue the QSJ EV Tour through mall displays in other parts of the country. The Bestune Pony and Bestune Joyee 03 will also be displayed at SM Center Urdaneta Central and SM City Cebu, giving more potential buyers the opportunity to explore the vehicles, learn about EV ownership, and inquire about financing options.

Autocar’s Take

The Philippine EV market is gradually expanding beyond early adopters, and initiatives like the QSJ EV Tour help make that transition more tangible. Instead of simply displaying electric passenger cars, QSJ Motors is also emphasizing commercial EVs, a segment that could have a bigger impact on operating costs for businesses and logistics providers. The QSJ Motors EV lineup demonstrates that electrification is no longer limited to premium vehicles, with options aimed at both everyday commuters and entrepreneurs. As charging infrastructure continues to improve, bringing these vehicles closer to consumers through mall displays could help more Filipinos consider electric mobility as a realistic option.
