
Britannica United Motors Inc. (BUMI) and Grand Canyon Multi-Holdings Inc. held a media roundtable where they shared the group’s expansion plans, which include plans to add multiple car brands to its portfolio.
The media roundtable event was led by Group Chairman Peter Po, President Andrew Po, and Vice President for Luzon Operations Zenaida Obligacion, who presented the group’s continued growth strategy and vision for the future.
The group highlighted that it now has 14 MG dealerships nationwide under its belt, which is said to be the largest dealer group for MG in the Philippines. Despite having a total of 14 dealerships, the company expressed its intention of opening more MG dealerships, as part of its continued expansion. In line with this, BUMI shared that it is also in its pipeline to open dealerships across multiple brands, including Jetour, Omoda & Jaecoo, and VinFast.

Aside from its expansion plan, BUMI is also taking into account enhancing customer experience. To do just that, the company said that MG Libis will soon undergo renovation, which will result in a larger showroom, while its aftersales operations will be transferred to a bigger service facility at The AutoComplex service center. Meanwhile, the said service center features 11 service bays dedicated to servicing MG, Omoda & Jaecoo, and Nissan vehicles.
After the roundtable, the group gave members of the media an exclusive tour of the temporary Omoda & Jaecoo Libis showroom. On display during the tour were the following vehicles: Jaecoo J5 electric vehicle (EV), MG RX9 plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV), and the MG G50 PHEV. The said vehicles were on display to show the group’s latest electrified vehicles.
Beyond the automotive business, Grand Canyon Multi-Holdings also shared its presence in the hospitality industry through Mandarin Island Hotel Boracay, which is said to be a renowned beachfront resort in Station 2.
