Inchcape Philippines, the exclusive distributor of Changan vehicles in the country, organized its first-ever Changan Tech Talk, an immersive learning experience, to connect with its current electric vehicle (EV) customers. The said Tech Talk is the first in a series of educational discussions between Changan and its existing EV customer base.

Changan Philippines said that the Tech Talk is an event that intends to reach out and to assist existing Changan EV owners by educating them on handling and understanding their vehicles better. Through the said initiative, Changan PH believes that it will help EV customers to further maximize the features and full potential of their EVs.

The first installment of the Changan Tech Talk series was held at the car brand’s flagship dealership, Changan C5 Pasig. A total of 20 Changan EV owners attended the first leg, who are existing owners of the Nevo Hunter K50 REEV, Nevo Q05 PHEV, Nevo A05 PHEV, and Lumin BEV.

Changan PH shared that the first leg was filled with informative and experiential training, conducted by the capable trainers from Changan PH’s Aftersales Department. The event also gave Changan EV owners the opportunity to talk directly to the car brand’s aftersales team, which resulted in meaningful discussions, according to Changan.

The car brand added that participants also shared how they are encouraging their families and friends to switch to Changan EV models.

On top of the brand’s continuous efforts to strengthen its presence in the country through delivering mobility solutions and advanced driving technologies, this aftersales initiative is a testament to how Changan PH values its customers.

Changan PH said that the Changan Teck Talk will be back soon for more rounds of customer-centric training events. Although the car brand has yet to share the date as to when the next Tech Talk will be.

Autocar’s Take

Changan Philippines showed that it is committed to offering not just electrified products, but ensuring that it gives enough aftersales support to its clients. Through its Changan Tech Talk initiative, Changan PH can establish a better connection with its existing owners, as well as educate them to maximize the features integrated into their vehicles.

It also allows Changan owners to talk directly to the car brand’s aftersales team, which could be a platform for discussing various concerns from its clients. As such, two-way communication could go a long way when it comes to addressing different topics, whether positive or negative.
