Honda Cars Philippines, Inc. (HCPI), through its Honda Helps program, is extending support to Honda vehicle owners who were affected by Typhoon Maymay and the continuous heavy monsoon rains.

HCPI aims to ease the financial strain of repairing a flooded vehicle by offering up to a 30 percent discount on select spare parts. Honda PH shared that the following spare parts will come at a discounted price until August 31, 2026.

– ECU

– Throttle Body

– Alternator

– Starter Motor

– Radiator Fan Motor

– Cooling Fan Motor

– SRS Unit

– Airbag Module

– Cable Reel

– Fuse Box (MICU)

– Accelerator Pedal

– Meter Assembly

– EPS

– Heater Control

– Seatbelt Pre-Tensioner

HCPI shared that offering discounted spare parts is rooted in Omotenashi, which is the Japanese philosophy of undivided hospitality and service. As such, Honda PH is determined to show its commitment to meeting customer needs during times of adversity. The discounted spare parts are valid for all inundated units received at select Honda Cars dealerships in Luzon and Metro Manila. The participating Honda Cars dealerships may be seen in the photo attached below.

Of note, this is not the first time that HCPI has extended support for flood-affected Honda vehicles. Last year, Honda Cars dealerships in Visayas and Mindanao offered discounts on select genuine spare parts for Honda owners who were affected by the floods and landslides caused by Typhoon Tino.

On the other hand, Honda has also shown its readiness to help the community in times of disasters. As a review, it has extended support and relief to the community of Barangay Lagao in General Santos City, where thousands of residents were affected by the 7.8-magnitude earthquake that struck Mindanao last June.

Honda Foundation Inc. (HFI) and over 20 Honda associates based in Davao came together to extend help to the affected community. They repacked and distributed relief goods, including five kilograms of premium rice each for 500 affected families.

Autocar’s Take

Honda Cars PH is offering discounted spare parts for flooded Honda vehicles due to Typhoon Maymay and the heavy monsoon rains. Honda PH said that the discounted spare parts are valid for all inundated units received at select Honda Cars dealerships in Luzon and Metro Manila. This is a nice gesture from Honda PH, as it shows that it aims to extend support to its customers. This effort is also not the first time by the car brand, as it already implemented the same program last year, which shows that Honda is consistent in its effort to help its customers.
