VinFast Philippines is set to expand its product offerings yet again with the upcoming launch of the VF 8. Ahead of its official November launch, VinFast PH has opened pre-orders for the all-new VF 8, an electric SUV that would rival the likes of the BYD Tang.
VinFast PH said that interested individuals can register through its authorized dealerships nationwide, with a non-refundable deposit of P5,000 to P10,000. The car brand added that the first 1,000 individuals who place pre-orders until November 5, 2026, will receive a free one-year battery subscription.
“The tremendous demand for VinFast’s innovations here in the Philippines inspired us to launch this early booking program for the all-new VF 8. Built for the performance and tech-focused Filipinos, the VF 8 promises a premium midsize crossover e-SUV experience,” said VinFast PH CEO Antonio Zara III.
The new VF 8 debuted in Vietnam last May 2026, featuring an overall package that is said to elevate the driving experience. It follows VinFast’s “Tech Fluid” design language, and it is integrated with an assertive front fascia that is complemented by sleek character lines seen throughout the exterior. The VinFast VF 8 is also highlighted by the brand’s signature wing-shaped daytime running lights, a gloss-black grille, and a more aerodynamic profile.

Other details about the PH-bound VF 8 have yet to be shared by VinFast. But a quick look at the model that was launched in Vietnam last May could give us a preview of what to expect about its cabin. Inside, it has an ergonomic layout centered around a 12.9-inch infotainment display that integrates most vehicle controls into a simplified interface. The electric SUV also gets a secondary driver display, dual-zone automatic climate control, air ionization technology, and an eight-speaker sound system.
Power comes from an electric motor producing 228 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, paired with front-wheel drive and selectable Eco, Normal, and Sport driving modes. It uses a 60.13 kWh battery pack delivering up to 500 kilometers of range, according to VinFast. Fast charging capability is claimed to allow the battery to charge from 10 percent to 70 percent in under 30 minutes.
As mentioned, VinFast PH is already accepting pre-orders for the VF 8. Individuals who pre-order until November 5, 2026, will receive a free one-year battery subscription. The VinFast VF 8 will also be offered with a vehicle warranty of seven years or 160,000 kilometers and a battery warranty of 10 years or 200,000 kilometers.
