VinFast is accelerating its expansion in the Philippines with the official launch of its electric motorcycle (e-scooter) business, opening 21 dealerships across the country while introducing three battery-swapping e-scooters aimed at different types of riders. The move marks another step in the Vietnamese automaker’s efforts to establish a broader green mobility ecosystem in Southeast Asia.
The initial dealership network will operate in key cities nationwide, giving customers access not only to VinFast motorcycles but also to authorized servicing, test rides, technical support, charging solutions, and the company’s battery-swapping system. VinFast said it intends to continue expanding the network in the coming months as it strengthens its local presence.
Leading the Philippine lineup are the Evo, Feliz II, and Viper electric motorcycles. Each targets a different riding style, with the Evo designed for everyday commuting, the Feliz II focusing on practicality, and the Viper appealing to younger riders with its sportier styling and higher performance. All three models feature dual under-seat battery compartments and are compatible with VinFast’s battery-swapping system, allowing owners to either purchase batteries outright or subscribe to a battery plan.

As part of the launch, VinFast also revealed plans to deploy 30,000 battery-swapping cabinets nationwide through infrastructure partners. The company believes this network will help address one of the biggest concerns surrounding electric two-wheelers by making battery replacement fast and convenient for riders. During the launch event, guests were also able to experience one-minute battery swaps and test rides of the new motorcycles.
Customers who sign up for the battery subscription program on or before September 30, 2026, will receive one year of free battery swaps, capped at 20 swaps per month. The motorcycles are likewise covered by a 4+2-year or 60,000+12,000-kilometer warranty, whichever comes first.
The Philippine rollout follows VinFast’s recent expansion into Indonesia, where it opened 20 electric motorcycle dealerships in July. With both markets now in focus, the company continues to build its regional electric mobility footprint while encouraging more consumers to consider electric motorcycles as a practical transportation option.

VinFast’s Philippine debut isn’t just about selling electric motorcycles—it is about proving that an EV ecosystem can work. The company understands that products alone are not enough, which is why its investment in dealerships and battery-swapping infrastructure could become its biggest advantage. The success of the VinFast electric motorcycles Philippines launch will ultimately depend on how reliable and accessible that ecosystem becomes in daily use. If the promised network continues to expand and battery swapping remains convenient, VinFast could help accelerate electric motorcycle adoption among Filipino commuters looking for practical and lower-cost alternatives to conventional scooters.
