GWM Philippines, under the distributorship of Luxuriant Automotive Group, Inc. (LAGI), reported that it achieved its best monthly sales performance to date in June 2026, with 112 units sold nationwide.

GWM PH said that the 112 units sold in June translate to a notable 50 percent year-on-year increase and the highest monthly performance in the brand’s history in the local market. The car brand shared that its sales milestone is due to the successful launches of the GWM Haval H9 and the GWM Haval H7, which are two SUVs that are said to have been well received in the local market.

Among the reasons for the local market’s positive response to the Haval H9 and the Haval H7 are their combination of premium design, advanced technology, capable performance, and exceptional value, according to GWM PH. In fact, the car brand has already officially started the nationwide retail deliveries of the Haval H7, which was formally introduced in the local market last June 15, 2026, and is available in three variants with a starting price of P1,298,888.

GWM PH added that it also recorded strong gains across its operations, as its aftersales division exceeded its performance targets for the month, reflecting increasing customer confidence not only in GWM vehicles but also in the ownership experience and aftersales support provided nationwide.

The car brand also mentioned that it is continuously expanding its network, which now comprises 10 dealerships nationwide and eight accredited aftersales service partners. This shows that GWM PH is committed to ensuring that its clients across the country can have better access to sales, maintenance, and technical support.

“This milestone is a reflection of the trust that Filipino customers have placed in GWM and the dedication of our dealer network and business partners across the country. June was a record-breaking month in the history of GWM Philippines, but more importantly, it affirmed the direction of GWM’S brand philosophy of “All Powertrains, All Scenarios, and All Users,” said GWM PH Brand Head Dax Avenido.

Avenido added that the strong June sales and continued network expansion are proof that GWM PH is steadily establishing itself in the Philippine automotive industry.

“Our dealers and business partners continue to invest in GWM because they believe in our vision and recognize the opportunities ahead. This wasn’t simply a strong month for us, it was proof that GWM Philippines is steadily establishing itself as a rising force in the Philippine automotive industry,” Avenido shared.

Autocar’s Take

GWM Philippines has recorded its best-ever monthly sales performance as it sold 112 units in June. The car brand attributes its strong June sales performance to the Haval H9 and the Haval H7, which are SUVs that are said to have been received positively by the local market. This shows that GWM PH is determined to continue offering products that appeal to the local market. By doing so, it has managed to achieve its highest monthly sales yet. Not just that, GWM PH is also committed to further expanding its dealer network in the Philippines. This is to give its clients better access to sales, maintenance, and technical support.
