Hyundai Motor Asia Pacific has launched its regional campaign for the upcoming 2026 ASEAN Cup. Guided by “Hyundai, Driving ASEAN as One,” the Korean automaker aims to celebrate the unifying spirit of football at the 2026 ASEAN Cup/Hyundai Cup, which will be from July 24 to August 26.

As the title partner of the 2026 ASEAN/Hyundai Cup, the Korean car brand said that it intends to connect fans and communities across 11 countries through shared football experiences, reinforcing its global vision of “Progress for Humanity.”

The “Hyundai, Driving ASEAN as One” campaign embodies the passion of Southeast Asian football, using the game to transcend borders, cultures, and languages to drive the entire region forward, according to Hyundai. Building on more than 27 years of global sports heritage, this campaign underscores Hyundai’s role in celebrating and uniting the diversity that defines both the region and the brand itself.

The seven-seater Stargazer MPV is Hyundai’s hero model for the 2026 ASEAN/Hyundai Cup. The car brand said that the Stargazer is designed around connection, comfort, spaciousness, and family mobility, which brings people together, just as football unites diverse communities across the region.

Leading up to and during the tournament, fans can look forward to a dynamic lineup of engagements. This includes the ongoing Hyundai Cup 2026 Trophy Tour, alongside match-day stadium activations, exclusive fan giveaways, and test drive opportunities across ASEAN markets.

“Hyundai Motor Philippines is proud to celebrate sportsmanship and the spirit of going the extra mile – whether on the road or in the pitch. Through this campaign, we aim to connect the passion for football with the Hyundai Stargazer, a vehicle designed to bring people closer together. More than being a car company, we are committed to creating meaningful and memorable experiences for our customers, and we look forward to bringing the Hyundai Cup 2026 to the Philippines very soon,” said Hyundai Motor Philippines Managing Director Cecil Capacete.

Vietnam’s Men’s Football team is the reigning champion as it bested Thailand in 2024. Of note, the 2026 ASEAN/Hyundai Cup will be held across the major stadiums and capital cities of every participating Southeast Asian country. Each team gets to host two matches in front of its home crowd during the group stage.

Autocar’s Take

The Korean car brand said that it intends to connect fans and communities across 11 countries through shared football experiences, reinforcing its global vision of “Progress for Humanity.”

While doing this, Hyundai will also highlight the Stargazer MPV, a vehicle that’s being marketed as bringing people together, just as football unites diverse communities across the region. The 2026 ASEAN/Hyundai Cup will run from July 24 to August 26.
