2026 GAC Emzoom officially debuts, starts at P1.059 million

2026 GS3 Emzoom

Following its livestream launch event broadcast on GAC Philippines’ social media pages last April 29, 2026, the brand officially welcomed the latest iteration of the 2026 Emzoom. Carrying a refreshed design, updated interior, and enhanced convenience features – while dropping the GS3 nameplate in the process – the 5-seater subcompact crossover is ready to take on its segment filled with electrified contenders.

Available in two variants of GB and R-Style, the latest 2026 model Emzoom is available in two distinct trims that come in different appeals, serving varying characteristics.

2026 Emzoom GB variant featuring the ‘Star Diamond’ front grill

Among the distinctions between variants is the front grill design: the new Emzoom GB variant features a “Star Diamond” grill, giving the base Emzoom trim a more elegant vibe.

Meanwhile, the R-Style, the sportier Emzoom variant, features a Black Edition package with a Flying Wing front grill design highlighted by its blacked-out front emblem as its main differentiation from the base GB. The Emzoom R-Style differs from the GB with its electric hidden door handles, auto-folding side mirrors, panoramic sunroof with electric sunshade, and automatic tailgate.

The R-Style also features convenient cabin features such as a 6-way power-adjustable driver seat, a ventilated driver seat, and a 50W wireless phone charger.

The top-spec R-Style also edges in terms of Advanced Driver Assist Systems (ADAS) features, including Adaptive Cruise Control, Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and Lane Departure Warning, among others.

On the dash, both Emzoom variants feature a 14.6-inch touchscreen infotainment system that has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility.

Another thing that is shared across variants is the potent third-generation 1.5-liter turbocharged gasoline direct injection (TGDI) engine. This four-cylinder mill is rated to output 174 horsepower and 270 Nm of torque. All these numbers are delivered to the front wheels via a 7-speed wet dual clutch transmission (7WDCT). As per GAC Philippines’ website, this engine and transmission combo allows the 2026 Emzoom to have the acceleration performance of going from 0-100 km/h in 7.5 seconds.

The 2026 GAC Emzoom is available in color options Graphene Grey, Ivory White, Moonlight Grey, and Superstar Silver. It also comes in two interior colors of Blue and Black, and Brown and Black.

As for pricing, the 2026 GAC Emzoom officially entered the local automotive market with indicative pre-sale prices of PHP 1,059,900 for the Emzoom GB variant and PHP 1,159,900 for the top-of-the-line R-Style variant.

Autocar’s Take

The Emzoom has been one of the most popular Chinese subcompact crossovers in the country. With the brand claiming to have served over 8,000 units since Emzoom’s arrival in the country, it really has made a mark in the local automotive market. Carrying fitting updates, the latest iteration of the Emzoom will hopefully continue the respectable market performance of its predecessor.

Also, it is worth noting that the indicative pre-sale prices of the new Emzoom are priced lower than the pricing of the previous Emzoom model. Something that interested Emzoom buyers should take advantage of.
