Green GSM Philippines, an all-electric taxi fleet, received the E-Mobility Award for Technology Adoption at the 13th Philippine Electric Vehicle Summit (PEVS). The said recognition was awarded by the Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines (EVAP) for Green GSM’s contribution to promoting electric mobility as a sustainable mode of transportation.
The E-Mobility Award was given to Green GSM, which is regarded as the Philippines’ first all-electric taxi fleet, composed of VinFast EVs. Aside from equipping its taxi fleet with all-electric VinFast models, Green GSM is also committed to reducing carbon emissions while providing a reliable, sustainable mode of transportation for Filipino commuters.
“We are deeply honored to receive this recognition from EVAP. For us, this award represents a shared effort between our teams, our drivers, and our partners in bringing electric mobility closer to everyday Filipinos,” said Green GSM Southeast Asia Managing Director Dao Quy Phi.
It also has ongoing investment in charging infrastructure, digital platforms, and workforce development. Green GSM aims to create a technology-driven, inclusive business model that positions itself as a taxi fleet demonstrating how e-mobility can be both sustainable and scalable, thereby enabling eco-conscious urban transport.

Green GSM shared that it operates a modern fleet of VinFast EVs, which are clean, quiet, and emit zero emissions. The company adds that each ride offers a fresh, odor-free cabin environment, complemented by professionally trained drivers who adhere to strict safety, service, and hygiene standards.
Its taxi fleet is also equipped with real-time fleet management to monitor location, battery level, and performance across its operations. Through the Green GSM app and its Secure to Safe (S2S) system, passengers experience transparency and safety in every ride. At the same time, drivers receive real-time support and optimized routes for greater efficiency.

Green GSM PH was launched in the country last June 2025, making it GSM’s fourth international market, which includes Vietnam, Laos, and Indonesia. This October, Green GSM PH announced it will continue expanding its network through its partnership with AMRC Renewable Corporation/Xentro Motors, a subsidiary of the Xentro Group of Companies. The said partnership intends to roll out 2,000 units of Green GSM EV taxis bearing the VinFast badge.
