Tesla Philippines is driven to further encourage consumers to shift into electric vehicles by launching initiatives intended to enhance the electric vehicle (EV) ownership experience.
As of this writing, Tesla PH said that more than 2,000 Tesla vehicles have been registered and driven on local roads. To continue its sales momentum in the local market, Tesla PH is now offering the Model Y compact crossover EV with a complimentary 1-year comprehensive insurance coverage.
This means that future owners of the Tesla Model Y will have more peace of mind as comprehensive car insurance provides a broad coverage that protects a vehicle from risks such as theft, vandalism, and natural disasters, among others.
Tesla PH offers the Model Y at a starting price of P2,369,000. Flexible financing options include a monthly installment plan starting at P38,810, with an estimated daily payment of P1,152. Tesla PH noted that the said daily payment is estimated based on a 22.88 percent interest rate over 5-year installment terms, available through the brand’s preferred bank partners.
The new Tesla Model Y, the world’s best-selling vehicle and holder of the highest safety ratings worldwide, was first launched in the Philippines last February 2025. It is available in two variants: Rear-Wheel Drive and Long Range, priced at P2,369,000 and P2,689,000, respectively.
The Tesla Model Y offers more than 2,130 liters of storage, making it an EV that can accommodate an assortment of items while still providing ample, comfortable cabin space. Charging the Model Y is via a V4 Supercharger, which allows the EV to get up to 266 km of range in just 15 minutes.
Currently, Tesla’s V4 Supercharging Stations are located at Uptown Mall in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig; SM Mall of Asia in Pasay City; and Shangri-La Mall in EDSA, Mandaluyong City. Tesla PH added that the new Model Y Long Range All-Wheel Drive variant with 19-inch wheels has a range of up to 600 km under WLTP standards.
To further drive its sales momentum in the local market, Tesla PH has also introduced the Green Mobility Program for companies and associations considering an EV fleet.
