
The Nissan Patrol, or the Armada in the North American market, has received the prestigious iF Design Award. The said award is a testament to the Nissan Patrol’s overall design, as the iF Design Award is based on a comprehensive evaluation that includes five areas of consideration: idea, form, function, differentiation, and sustainability.
This year’s iF Design Award panel features an independent jury of 129 design and sustainability experts from 21 nationalities who evaluate every project or product through a rigorous, transparent process. Organizers of the iF Design Award shared that it has received over 10,000 submissions from 68 countries.
The current Patrol in the market is Nissan’s seventh-generation full-size SUV. The Japanese car brand said that the Patrol carries over 75 years of legacy, excellence, and trust. The Nissan Patrol has an assertive demeanor, which is complemented by a wide V-motion grille that dominates the front fascia.
It also comes with signature Double C-shaped LED headlights, giving it a commanding presence on the road. At the side, a distinctive silhouette reflects the Patrol’s legendary capability, while a sleek LED light bar spans the width of the rear.

Under the hood, the 2026 Nissan Patrol is powered by a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 gasoline engine that delivers 425 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque. The engine is mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission and comes with six drive modes: Standard, Eco, Sport, Sand, Mud, and Rock.
The Nissan Patrol is also integrated with Nissan Intelligent Mobility with ProPILOT, offering advanced driver assistance features such as Intelligent Cruise Control and Intelligent Lane Keep Assist, and a new Invisible Hood View for enhanced safety and ease of driving.
Nissan Philippines offers the Patrol in two variants, and pricing starts at P5,335,000, while the top-spec trim comes with a sticker price of P5,385,000. It also comes with a five-year warranty. Of note, an additional P20,000 is implemented for Two-Tone color, P30,000 for Premium color, and P50,000 for Premium Two-Tone color.
