All-new Mitsubishi Triton, XForce clinch 2024 iF DESIGN AWARDS for Product Design Discipline

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation announced that the All-New Triton, a one-ton pickup truck, and the All-New Xforce compact SUV have won the iF DESIGN AWARD 2024 in the product design discipline.

The iF DESIGN AWARD, organized by iF International Forum Design GmbH, is renowned globally for recognizing outstanding design. Around 11,000 entries from 72 countries were judged by a jury of 132 international design experts based on five criteria: idea, form, function, differentiation, and impact.

Seiji Watanabe, division general manager of design at Mitsubishi Motors, expressed gratitude for the recognition and highlighted the unique character of each model – the Triton’s daring expression and the Xforce’s agile look, combined with Mitsubishi Motors’ trademark robustness.

The All-New Triton, rooted in the Forte introduced in 1978, showcases toughness and strength with ruggedness and agility. The interior features a robust, horizontally themed instrument panel for easy visibility and operation.

The All-New Xforce, a compact SUV, offers comfort and practicality in a maneuverable, compact body size, with a stylish yet robust exterior and a sophisticated interior featuring a large monolithic display panel.
