Hyundai has recently introduced the next-generation 2027 Tucson, which features a sharp-looking exterior design that creates a bold and composed stance. The Korean automaker said that the all-new Tucson represents Hyundai’s latest interpretation of its “Art of Steel” design philosophy.
During its official reveal, the press images shared by Hyundai are limited to computer-generated imagery, and it has opted not to share actual photos of the next-gen Tucson. The images released by Hyundai suggest that the Tucson comes with a rugged exterior that’s complemented by crisp design details as seen on its head- and tail-lights.
Not to mention, the character lines of the all-new Tucson are as sharp as a chef’s knife. But the press images are sometimes not enough to tell us what the 2027 Hyundai Tucson will look like in actual production form.
Now, our pondering could take a break as Healer TV, a YouTube channel based in South Korea, has spotted the next-gen Hyundai Tucson on public roads. From the looks of it, the actual all-new Tucson looks promising and seems to closely resemble the design details seen on the CGI-like images that Hyundai initially released.
The sharp-looking exterior unmistakably resembles the images released by the Korean car brand. The front end has a bold finish, which features subtle yet eye-catching daytime running lights. Adding to the Tucson’s composed front end is the beefy bumper that’s accented by black and flat gray trim, which closely resembles the initial images published by Hyundai.
Turning to the side, you’ll instantly notice the next-gen Tucson’s prominent fender flares, which give the vehicle a muscular look. It also has black cladding that makes the vehicle look more rugged. Of note, the black and gray accents seen on the front end extend to the Tucson’s side profile, adding style points to the arguably stylish compact crossover SUV.
The rear also resembles the images released by Hyundai, and seeing it in the metal makes the Tucson even more distinctive. The taillights are subtly integrated into the vehicle, composed of vertical and horizontal lighting. The latter features a soft indirect light, which creates a distinct lighting signature, while the rear bumper is as beefy as the one seen on the front.

Autocar’s Take
The next-gen Hyundai Tucson is arguably one of the most aggressive crossover SUVs from the Korean car brand. Press images show how rugged, sharp, and composed the all-new Tucson is, and it is a head-turner. Now, seeing the next-gen Tucson in the metal reveal, it’s clear that the production version will resemble the design details seen in the press images. Overall, the new Tucson has a more athletic and boxier presence than its already sharp-looking predecessor. While the outgoing model looks nice, the all-new version looks more confident and composed.
