Chinese new energy vehicle (NEV) maker Li Auto has expanded its presence in the Philippines by opening its second showroom in the south of Metro Manila. Located in Aseana City, Parañaque, this new outlet marks the next phase of the brand’s continued local growth.
The newly opened showroom joins Li Auto’s first outlet located in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), Taguig, as it strengthens its foothold in what remains its first and only Southeast Asian market. While the BGC showroom highlights showcase and retail, the Li Auto Aseana showroom takes it a step further by incorporating not just display and retail but also a full-service center. The area features one car bay and offers a range of after-sales services.
Li Auto Aseana’s inauguration coincides with the launch of the Li Mega, the company’s premium MPV, which it describes as a “home on wheels.” The Li Mega is available locally in two variants: the Ultra, priced at P5.99 million, and the top-spec Home, priced at P6.49 million.

The Li Mega stands out for its highly aerodynamic, one-box design, an approach more commonly seen in high-speed rail than in traditional MPVs. Its smooth, elongated silhouette is engineered to reduce drag, contributing not only to improved efficiency but also to a quieter, more stable ride at highway speeds.
Powering the Mega is a high-voltage, pure-electric system designed for both performance and fast charging. The platform supports ultra-fast charging, allowing the vehicle to recover significant driving range in a short amount of time – an important factor for long-distance family travel.
The cabin features a wide, open aisle and flexible seating configurations, including fully reclining second-row seats designed for long-distance relaxation. A large panoramic glass area enhances the sense of openness, while the multi-screen digital interface integrates entertainment, navigation, and vehicle controls into a seamless user experience.

Moreover, Li Auto prides itself on its premium lineup of range-extended electric vehicles (REEVs), including the L6, L7, and L9. These combine a 52.3 kWh battery with a 1.5-liter gasoline-powered range extender. The system delivers a claimed total driving range of up to 1,421 kilometers, including 286 kilometers of pure electric driving, supported by a 65-liter fuel tank.
The company also highlights a suite of comfort and safety technologies, including adaptive air suspension, LiDAR-assisted driver assistance, over-the-air software updates, and a reinforced body structure. Li Auto vehicles are equipped with features to enhance passenger comfort, such as Nappa leather seating, reclining “zero gravity” seats, massage functions, and multi-screen infotainment systems. Additional amenities include a built-in refrigerator, camping modes, and vehicle-to-load capability.
Aside from Aseana City, Li Auto Philippines is eying to expand its local presence in key areas, including Cebu, Davao, and Clark.

Autocar’s Take
Li Auto Philippines’ expansion is a calculated bet on a market where family mobility still shapes purchasing decisions. With the Aseana showroom now open, more and more EV buyers will be able to get to know the brand. The inclusion of a full-service area is a solid reassurance that Li Auto is serious about business beyond just selling EV units. It only shows that the brand is going further by taking care of its customers beyond the point of sale and well into their vehicle ownership journey.
The introduction of the Li Mega, which was held in tandem with the showroom opening, is a good move, showing that Li Auto understands the market it operates in. Modern Filipino car buyers are looking not just for the benefits of an EV but also for a vehicle that can take the family places, especially in seasons when travel is at the top of the priority list. The Mega’s “homey” atmosphere is a nice touch, as it can make long-distance trips all the more enjoyable.
