Ben&Ben’s Paolo Benjamin and Miguel Benjamin are part of Toyota Motor Asia’s Move Your World Beat, a campaign developed with creative partner VIRTUE Asia. The Ben&Ben duo will be making original music with the help of everyday Toyota vehicle sounds.
Toyota’s Move Your World Beat is the car brand’s new cultural initiative that brings together established and emerging artists from across Asia to collaborate, experiment, and inspire the next generation to express their cultures through contemporary sound. The Japanese car brand added that this campaign also serves as a platform where Toyota empowers Asia’s creators to tell stories through music while celebrating both cultural heritage and innovation.
The idea behind the Move Your World Beat is simple: to transform the functional sounds of a vehicle into creative expression. Toyota noted that each composition reflects the artist’s unique musical identity while contributing to a broader body of work that celebrates Asia’s diversity through a shared creative language.
Ben&Ben’s Paolo and Miguel join a regional lineup of creators that includes Malaysia’s Belle Sisoski, Pakistan’s Natasha Noorani, Singapore’s Shye, Thailand’s Valentina Ploy, and Vietnam’s 2pillz. Each artist will produce an original track using the sounds of a Toyota, such as subtle clicks and ambient hums, to engineered tones. As such, the random car sounds will be the base or foundation of the artists’ original track, reimagining them through their distinct musical style.

“At its heart, Move Your World is about Toyota’s commitment to the communities in Asia – the freedom to move, and the thrill and joy of moving forward together. With Move Your World Beat, we bring that same spirit to music, a universal language that unites our communities and moves us all a little closer,” Toyota Motor Asia General Manager Jaja Ishibashi said.
“By supporting creators and bringing different voices together, we hope to inspire new forms of expression and show that when we move together, we can create something greater than any one of us could achieve alone,” Ishibashi added.
The campaign will culminate later this year with the release of a regional collective beat. Toyota added that the Move Your World Beat will continue as an ongoing platform, with each participating artist’s content contributing to future collaborations that celebrate creativity, community, and cultural exchange across the region.

Autocar’s Take
Toyota is bringing together artists from across Asia for its Move Your World Beat campaign. Representing the Philippines are Ben&Ben’s Paolo and Miguel, who will be creating an original track using the sounds from a Toyota car. Other artists from Asia will also be doing the same. The idea behind Toyota’s Move Your World Beat is nice, as it will show the different music styles of the artists included in its list. However, this is not the first time that car sounds will be transformed into music. In 2021, Volvo did a similar gimmick, transforming the sounds from the XC60. Back in 2016, Hyundai also did a similar thing, featuring the sounds from the i20.
