Passengers traveling through Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 can now enjoy improved accessibility and convenience with the launch of a centralized hub for transport network vehicle services (TNVS) and metered taxis.

Operated by New NAIA Infra Corp. (NNIC), the hub officially became fully operational on December 8, 2024, following a soft launch on December 5. Designed to address curbside congestion and enhance traffic flow, the 6,000-square-meter facility is located within the multi-level parking building at Terminal 3, offering 401 parking slots, 18 loading bays, and dedicated lanes for TNVS operators.

“With a centralized hub and diverse transportation options, we are bringing more order and efficiency to the airport. This is part of our commitment to making travel smoother and stress-free for every passenger,” said NNIC General Manager Lito Alvarez.

Grab Philippines, the nation’s leading ride-hailing platform, was the first operator to transition to the hub. Full-scale operations commenced on December 8, with Grab Philippines Country Head Ronald Roda lauding the initiative. “This hub is a game-changer for drivers and passengers alike. Grab is proud to lead the way in enhancing the airport experience and collaborating with NNIC to ensure seamless service,” he said.

JoyRide, which will begin operations on December 10, will offer both app-based rides and its Super Taxi fleet. “Our partnership with NNIC ensures passengers have reliable transportation options, enhancing their overall journey,” said JoyRide SVP for Corporate Affairs Noli Eala.

Angkas’ four-wheeled service, Angcars, will also join the hub to provide another convenient option for passengers. “This collaboration is a win for travelers and drivers, enhancing the efficiency of NAIA Terminal 3,” said Angkas CEO George Royeca.

Passengers without ride-hailing apps can make on-the-spot bookings at lounges adjacent to the car park, ensuring accessibility for all travelers. Rates are comparable to coupon taxis, maintaining affordability while delivering the convenience of app-based services.

This initiative is part of NNIC’s broader efforts to modernize NAIA and improve its infrastructure. By collaborating with industry leaders, NNIC is taking significant steps toward delivering a world-class airport experience tailored to the needs of modern travelers.
