Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), through Lexus Philippines, has been named as the official mobility partner for the ASEAN Summit 2026, happening from May 6 to 8. As the official mobility partner, TMP shared that it will be providing ASEAN Summit delegates with Lexus’ hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) models.
Lexus will provide a fleet of HEV vehicles to support the transportation needs of heads of state and official delegates of the ASEAN Summit 2026. The Lexus HEV models to be used are the following: the LM350 and the LS500. The Japanese car brand said that the fleet will be utilized across key summit locations, including Cebu and Manila, ensuring refined, reliable mobility throughout the event.
TMP President Masando Hashimoto said that being the official mobility partner of the ASEAN Summit 2026 will allow Lexus to highlight its seamless and efficient HEV models, such as the LM350 and the LS500.
“By serving as the official mobility partner for ASEAN 2026, we aim to demonstrate how secure, seamless mobility can coexist with a deep commitment to nation-building and a sustainable future,” Hashimoto said.
“Through our electrified lineup, we are providing more than just transport for the region’s highest-level engagements but we are also showcasing a forward-thinking pathway to electrified elegance that prioritizes both quiet refinement and our collective responsibility toward a greener, more resilient ASEAN,” Hashimoto added.

The ASEAN National Organising Council (NOC) emphasized that the partnership with TMP and Lexus PH “signals an important focus on sustainability within the region.” The ASEAN NOC added that the deployment of HEV is fitting for the “critical dialogues on environmental sustainability, climate resilience, and energy security among regional leaders and policymakers.”
Lexus PH offers a wide range of new energy vehicles, including the all-electric RZ, as well as HEVs such as the RX 350h and the NX 350h. In fact, the LX 700h is now on display at the Lexus Manila Gallery in Bonifacio Global City (BGC), a model that serves as a testament to how Lexus is evolving its full-size luxury SUV to become a new energy vehicle.
Lexus is also expanding support for its growing base of EV owners by strengthening its charging and dealer network. The move aims to make premium electric mobility more accessible and practical across key locations in the country. Lexus EV owners can access charging at the Lexus Manila Gallery in BGC and at 14 participating Toyota dealerships nationwide.
