Italian carmaker Lamborghini has unveiled what it refers to as its most powerful open-top model ever. Meet the new Fenomeno Roadster, an ultra-exclusive hybrid V12 hypercar built for a select group of collectors worldwide.
The Fenomeno Roadster combines the brand’s traditional naturally aspirated V12 engine with an electrified hybrid system, producing a staggering 1,066 hp. The car is based on the Revuelto platform, and was given extensive styling, aerodynamic, and performance upgrades with the goal of making it one of the most extreme Lambos ever produced.
The roadster uses a 6.5-liter non-turbo V12 engine, paired with three electric motors. The company says the car can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.4 seconds, which would lead to a top speed of over 350 km/h. While electrification is the trend across the automotive industry today, Lamborghini continues to highlight the emotional appeal and raw sound of its V12 engine architecture — a powerplant which has cemented its foothold in the supercar platform through its models such as the Miura, Countach, Diablo, Murcielago, Aventador, and now the Revuelto.

With just 15 examples coming out of the company’s Sant’Agata Bolognese-based facility in Italy, the Fenomeno Roadster joins Lamborghini’s highly exclusive “Few-Off” series, a line reserved for limited-production halo cars created in extremely small numbers. Previous models under this approach include the Reventón, Veneno, Centenario, and Sián, all of which eventually became prized collector vehicles.
Visually, the Fenomeno Roadster takes an aggressive direction with sharp bodywork, dramatic aerodynamic elements, lightweight carbon-fiber construction, and a low-slung open-top layout designed to maximize theater and performance. According to Lamborghini, the limited edition model also celebrates the anniversary of Centro Stile, the company’s in-house design division responsible for shaping the brand’s modern design language.
While Lamborghini has not officially disclosed pricing, industry reports suggest the model is already effectively sold out to select customers and collectors even before public debut. It was estimated that the Fenomeno Roadster’s pricing was well into the multi-million-euro range.

Autocar’s Take
The Fenomeno Roadster proves that Lamborghini is refusing to let emotion disappear from the supercar world. At a time when many brands are moving toward electrification, Lamborghini continues to prove that a naturally aspirated V12 can coexist with hybrid technology and develop a unique character of its own, with a new emotional experience for drivers.
What makes the Fenomeno interesting is not just its outrageous performance figures, but the fact that it still prioritizes drama, sound, and presence. Realistically, very few people will ever see one in person, much less own one. Still, cars like this matter because they keep automotive passion alive in a world where things are rapidly becoming more digital and sanitized.
