Lamborghini achieved a new sales record in 2025, as it closed its sales inventory with more than 10,000 units sold. The car brand said that its high sales performance last year is a testament to its strong market presence globally, which is driven by its hybridization strategy.
Lamborghini Chairman and CEO Stephan Winkelmann said that the car brand’s new sales record shows that the company can withstand the different challenges brought upon by the ever-changing trends in the automotive industry.
“Despite challenging market conditions we are very proud of the results achieved in 2025, which confirm Lamborghini’s ability to stand out even in a complex global environment,” Winkelmann said.
Among the sales drivers for Lamborghini last year is the Temerario, a hybrid supercar that succeeds the Huracan. Now, it seems that the Lamborghini Temerario could make its debut in the Philippines soon, as it is now included among the recognized electric vehicles in the Department of Energy’s (DOE) online portal.

Lamborghini uploaded the Temerario’s spec sheet on the said portal, which could lead to the possibility of being launched locally. The Lamborghini Temerario is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 that is paired with three electric motors, generating a combined power output of 907 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque. It also comes with an eight-speed dual clutch transmission.
Lamborghini claims that the Temerario can accelerate from zero to 100 km/h in just 2.7 seconds before hitting a top speed of 343 km/h. The car brand added that the Temerario’s V8 engine can be able to reach 10,000 rpm.

The Temerario’s exterior comes with sharp character lines along with signature hexagon-shaped daytime running lights. The rear spoiler is designed to increase the vehicle’s rear downforce for high-velocity stability, giving drivers more confidence when pushing the car on the track. Lamborghini added that the Temerario’s cooling system layout and air ducts yield improved cooling performance by 30 percent.
PGA Cars Inc., the official distributor of Lamborghini vehicles in the Philippines, has yet to confirm if the Temerario will be launched locally.
Autocar’s Take
The Department of Energy’s online portal of recognized EVs has been active lately by adding new vehicles to the list. Chevrolet, Toyota, and Suzuki, among others, have been uploading their respective vehicles on the DOE’s website, giving hints of what new vehicles we can expect to arrive in the Philippines. Though not yet officially confirmed, the possibility is high as it is now recognized by the DOE.
Lamborghini is the recent automaker to upload a spec sheet of its hybrid vehicle, the Temerario. The Temerario was one of Lamborghini’s top-selling vehicles last year, proving that a hybrid supercar has market demand globally.
