Chinese carmaker Jetour has reached 2 million cumulative vehicle sales worldwide since its debut in the global automotive scene in 2018. The milestone was achieved on October 30, 2025, showing the company’s steadfast growth amid a highly competitive industry.

The brand’s rise began with the launch of the JETOUR X70 in August 2018. By the end of that year, the model was already posting monthly sales of more than 10,000 units. Despite global market disruption in the following years, Jetour continued to expand steadily, reaching 200,000 cumulative units by February 2020 and surpassing 400,000 units in August 2021.

By November 2022, total sales had climbed to 600,000 units, with annual volume reaching 180,000 units. Jetour’s growth accelerated further in 2024, reaching a cumulative sales of more than 1 million units, driven by annual sales of 568,000 vehicles. The 2-million mark was reached less than two years later.

Jetour’s expansion has been supported by its “Travel+” strategy, which positions the brand around mobility and lifestyle-oriented vehicles. The company is now present in 91 countries and regions, and operates more than 2,000 sales and service outlets worldwide. In China, Jetour currently leads the light off-road vehicle segment. In the Middle East, including markets such as Saudi Arabia, the UAE, and Qatar, the brand ranks among the top three overall and leads among Chinese automotive brands. It has also gained ground in Latin America and Africa, ranking top Chinese SUV brands in countries such as Ecuador, Peru, Panama, and South Africa.

As part of its next phase of growth, Jetour is now moving into the premium hybrid off-road segment. It’s the first model in this category, the Jetour G700, which made its global debut in the Middle East last November 2025.

In the local scene, Jetour Auto Philippines offers a mix of internal combustion, hybrid, and electric vehicles across multiple segments. Some of its most popular models today include the X70, Dashing, T2, and T1 Lightning i-DM. The company says the 2-million global sales feat signals the brand’s transition from a new industry player to a more established global name, with further expansions planned in the electrified and off-road vehicle segments.
