Isuzu Philippines Corporation (IPC) brought its commercial vehicle lineup and transport partners together in Cagayan de Oro as it used the Isuzu NMADI Trucxpo 2026 to highlight solutions for businesses across Mindanao.
Held on September 14 and 15 at the Isuzu Cagayan de Oro Showroom, the two-day event was organized by IPC with dealer partner North-min Auto Dealers, Inc. (NMADI). It drew fleet operators, cooperatives, non-government organizations, bank partners, business leaders, and other industry stakeholders.
Rather than simply putting trucks on display, the Trucxpo brought together body builders, equipment suppliers, financial institutions, and industry experts so businesses could explore vehicle configurations suited to their operations. IPC said the event was intended to encourage collaboration, knowledge-sharing, and business development across the region and local markets in Mindanao.
The display covered several commercial vehicle applications. Three configurations of the Isuzu TRAVIZ showed how the light-duty model can be adapted for different requirements. These included a Utility Vehicle for equipment and passenger mobility, a Refrigerated Van for temperature-sensitive deliveries, and an Aluminum Van for enclosed cargo.
For businesses involved in cold-chain logistics, Isuzu also displayed the FVR and FRR Refrigerated Van configurations. The medium-duty trucks are intended for transporting perishable products, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature-sensitive cargo while helping maintain product quality during delivery.
Rounding out the lineup was the NQR Dropside, whose body configuration is designed for businesses that need efficient loading and unloading. IPC identifies construction materials, agricultural products, hardware supplies, and other commercial goods as the model’s potential applications.
The event also put an emphasis on knowledge, particularly for businesses operating in temperature-controlled logistics. A technical forum facilitated by the National Meat Inspection Service discussed cold-chain standards and transport regulations, including regulatory compliance, operational practices, and industry developments.
Attendees were also able to consult directly with Isuzu representatives, body builders, equipment suppliers, banks, loan institutions, and industry experts about transport solutions that meet NMIS standards and their specific operational needs.
The Trucxpo ended with the Isuzu NMADI Partners’ Recognition Night, which honored fleet customers, government and local business enterprises, and bank and insurance partners. Awards included the Corporate Sales Excellence Award, Government Sales Excellence Award, and Fleet Aftersales Excellence Award.
For Isuzu, the event reinforces its push to support Mindanao businesses through commercial vehicles, technical expertise, aftersales support, and industry partnerships.
